About my Fursonna
- My Species:
- Anthorpomorphic Equine
- My Fursonna Described:
- 8 and a half feet tall, weight about 1000 pounds (at 1-G). Dark "coffee" brown in color, white blazed face, steel-blue/silver eyes.
And a constant smile (usually). ;)
- My Homeworld:
- Eponion
- My Homeworld Described:
- Eponeon orbits the gas giant Dunstar-7.
Pulled between the gravitational tug of their star, and the massive gravitation pull of Dunstar-7, the landmasses would be in constant upheaval if not for the planet's greater-than-normal mass, itself.
Tungsten, the planet's chief mining resource, is found in all of the planet's outer crust. This metal is also one of the reasons for the crust of the planet's stability; it is a bonding element which gives the crust extraordinary stability under the intense gravitational forces exerted by its "mother" planet, the gas giant Eponeon orbits.
Tungsten is so ubiquitous on the planet, even, that its flora and fauna is possessive of the element in their biology. Where iron is the superseding element in most other forms of life from other worlds, tungsten is the chief among them in Epneons.
As a result, Eponeons tend to be exceedingly tough and durable. Eponeon Work stock (cattle-analogues) and dog-analogues are greatly sought after by other races in the Spiral Arm. Their tough bodies (not only from the tungsten but also because they are native to a 2-G world) make them excellent servants, guard animals and work beasts throughout the conglomerate.
Most of all, Eponeon's native sentient life is renowned throughout the conglomerate for their hardy toughness. In a 1-G environment, the anthropomorphic horses are physically strong in the extreme, can lift up to a ton, and can run extraordinary distances. In hand-to-hand combat, they are seldom outmatched. Eponeons as a result, are often greatly sought after for combat troops for theaters of war.
Additionally, because of the fact that their native element (tungsten) is so greatly sought after by the conglomerate, Eponeons have developed keen mining and engineering skills. As a result, many Eponeon equines are found in the arenas of ship-building, space-mining operations and in the planning and construction of many of the different worlds' larger cities.
Eponeons are unmatched in their toughness, their engineering and mathematics prowess, and in their ability to get things done.
