A human, given the name R.I.F.T by his captors, was taken at the age of ten to be modified. Operations took six years. Looking mostly human outwardly with little humanity left inside, he began to transform into a dragon, a power that was dormant until a dragon adopted and trained him. In time he explored his transformation abilities and found that both dragon and wolf/husky forms could be obtained with relative ease. He also found he could mix and match the related traits as he desired.

Sliv'oth, a name given to him by his first adopted dragon mother, was a name that meant "Infinity" among other things. The foreshadowing of his destiny to become the master of Infinity.

Wolfy, later expanded on to be Wolfy Wet Furr, was a playful joke referring to his more furry nature that stuck.

As a human he answers to the name of Rift and often changes his last name. When in a more dragon like shape he answers to Sliv'oth and when more canine he is called any part of his three point name, Wolfy Wet Furr. But at any time and in any form, he will respond to Infinite.

Wolfy Wet Furr became the inspiration and prototype of Karnations, but he does not identify himself as being one of them. Rather than identify with any one creature, he will only acknowledge being a hybrid.
