Robert couldn't help but smile at Isis' rambling, "You think you ramble, get a salarian going. They never shut up. Anyways, meet and greet... like I said, Im Robert Verrick, also known as Titan. Minor biotics, but my specialty is explosives. I can't fix anything, but by god I can make it blow up," he laughed at his own joke, "so how bout you three?" he asked, looking over at their companions.

Neon nodded to the councilers as they got up to leave before turning her attention to the altinian in the room, a sudden presence would be felt against his firewall and systems, similar to teh sensation of a child pressing it's face against a window to see what lies inside without going in. "Interesting...." she smiled lightly to him, and the presence would suddenly vanish "I hadn't realized there were any Altinians in this sector of the galaxy...Cute" she said offhandedly, imitating his '^^' for a moment. she seemed to be running a secondary process that kicked in as soon as the councilers were out of range. she blinked once, her eyes shifting to normal and seeming to harden as though she'd removed a mask "They took that rather well...." she looked in the direction the councilers had left, clearly speaking to Alex now.

"Quite." he grunted, clearly still pissd off that they'd even found out about his partner. he looked down to his partner, about to continue, only to find her already diving into another conversation "I was sure the--"

"I'm quite distinctly Female, Isis" she started, drawing on the system data she'd just accessed on each of the individuals in the room "It's utterly engrained in my programming...my ah...designers idea" she felt that would explain enough on that 'subject' and immediately launched off into nonsessant rambling about god only knew what

"Neon, time to go" he stated flatly, already heading for the door. he didn't care much who the others introduced themselves as or what they did, and they didn't need to know any more about him than that his name was 'Alex', and they'd already gotten that from the introduction the councilers had given him...no, the rest of his cards would be played close to the chest till he new what was what, there was enough about this assignment that was odd, all the data on them he could ever need could be found with Neon...who was still yammering on about some random factoid she'd picked up somewhere "Neon" he sighed "Neeeon, I'm gonna go explore the shiny new ship without ya"

"Oooo..." she stopped mid sentence "Coming!" She made a quick bow to the others and vanished like a spectre, a point of like making a beeline to connnect back with Alex's systems "Take me to this new ship! I wish to 'cristen' it!" she used an old term she'd read somewhere, misusing the term in place for something along the lines of 'claiming' it

"There are times I wonder if they programmed a child rather than an AI---OW! hey!" a sudden shock discharged along his back as he pushed the council chamber doors open "That was uncalled for!"

The sudden presence against my inner system and firewalls didn't bother me. This particular A.I. had an exceptionally likeable personality, at least to me. The kind of quirky, absent minded, ADD'd personality I found I was rather compatible with.

I believed I would find future interactions with her to be quite intellectually and entertainment wise, stimulating. Normally I would have been able to stonewall an A.I. since after all, I was trained and equipped to combat enemy electronic technologies, A.I.'s included, however I felt no desire to, it was after all just a friendly peek through my helmet, to which I gave a friendly smile.

I hoped it wouldn't bother here that, I was, in fact, damaged facially. My cybernetic mask compensated, but it wasn't quite what used to be there previously. Unlike her supposed handler Robert, whose sunny disposition I couldn't possibly get enough of, I enjoyed listening to Neon ranting on and I even joined in on it, though privately, over a secure extranet link-up to her platform.

It was only after Neon and Robert decided to go explore the "shiny new ship" that I decided on a quick introduction, though I did double check my personnel file security, unbreached, as I hoped it would be. Security was of high importance to the Altinian government, our technology, our personnel files, everything.

Somebody wanted data on us, they'd need to request it. But back to the more important stuff at hand, my introduction. Regaining my composure I stood at attention, ears laid back, tail coiled and right hand over my two hearts.

"Ishida Kiyoshi. Robotics Specialist. Third Altinian Rapid-response. Technician corps. I'm capable of blowing up a decent number of things on my own with either tech attacks, gunfire, missiles or, if necessity demands it, anything I am able to cobble together.

I mostly excel at electronic countermeasures, enemy A.I. suppression and I specialize in utilizing robotic forces to the best of their design, I am also a bit of a field mechanic, though software is more my forte, I am able to keep a gun from blowing up in your faces or patch up a cracked ceramic plate if I need to, provided you keep me from getting my precious head blown off while I work that is."

Returning to being at ease I shot Isis and the rest of the team another friendly ^^, though this time using the small collection of LED's at the front of my visor to produce a more obvioius ^_^ sign, before dashing off like a hyperactive cub on an energy drink, I wanted to see the shiny new ship too.

Lorik stood silently as the rest of the group talked about their specialties. He could see he was in the midst of experts, but in his opinion they were too specialized. "My name is Lorik, I'm a Agent of the Turian Hierarchy. I specialize in tracking, direct combat, and marksmanship. I'm also trained in general electronic warfare and field mechanics," he said when the Altian finished talking. "I'm also trained in basic starship command, it's a course at the Turian Academy."

Robert snickered, then turned to Lorik, "Let me guess, something like this," he turned to move forward again, but stood stiff as a board with a very irritated look on his face, "All Turian's must have a permanent stick up their ass. Everyone stand in a box formation, even if they start firing rockets. Oh how we loathe creativity and happy thoughts!" He broke his impersonation as they neered the docking bay.

The local VI, Avina, appeared next to the hanger door, her purple asari avatar staring blankly at them, "Hello Spectres, it is a pleasure to greet you. Final preparations of The Archangel are nearing completion. Safety protocols have been temporarily disabled for AI transport. Personal equipment has been loaded by qualified professionals on your contact sections of personal profiles. Spectre agents Lorik, Ishida, and Robert have visitors within the hanger. Agent Isis has recieved several messages on her personal terminal. Agent Alex has several discount offers on his personal terminal and a new message from one 'Beta.' Unlocking hanger, have a pleasant day."

The door opened and Robert lead the way into the large hanger. He gasped as he saw the ship. It's sleek, circular hull showed its multi-racial design: Twin Alliance engines, The armored hull and shield systems of the Migrant Fleet, Turian weapon systems entwined with them. Asari were there, monitoring the warp drive of their design, Salarians testing the stealth systems, even some Altinians were there, testing the internal network.

A group of Alliance soldiers approached Robert and Robert saluted the CO, his sergeant. The sergeant was a rough, scarred man of 50. His suit was bent and scorched from battle and he returned Robert's salute crisply, "At ease Titan, I don't have authority over you anymore," he waited for Titan to relax before continuing, "so you're a Spectre now, not bad for a lizard," here he grinned, "you did well as just a marine, now they're giving you unrestricted use of your 'specials.' God help whoever opposes you. Do the Alliance proud Titan."

Titan nodded, "I'll do my best sir." A handshake later, Robert stood alone, waiting for the others.

Isis seeing the alert from the uplink on her Omitool went to check the messages but not before taking a short tour of the vessel, her first stop was the bridge of the vessel, merely to poke about, then to other sections to make her familiar with the ship itself, filing away all the information that she could get to on the ship the ship for her mental filing cabinet before she went to her room to check on the on the list of personal messages that she got in the short time that she been assigned to the mission.

Upon arriving with the rest of the team down at the ships docking cradle, I couldn't help but go wide-eyed in awe. Quarian shield emitters and armor carapace, Turian weaponry, Alliance thruster ports... This ship was a thing of beauty. Even some Altinians had apparently been contracted for this big scale mission, providing our technical understanding of virtually impenetrable internal communication and information relay systems. I smirked, I so aimed to ask Neon what she thought of Altinian low-temperature data transfer protocols, they were specially designed to do half the work for an A.I. if it so desired to.

Okay, now I was getting a bit geeky. A pair of red lights, red LED lines underneath my optical visor lit op along with a pair of ^^ and a single _ appearing at the bottom of my helmet. It was our method of communicating our mood to those who couldn't ear ear and tail motions. Making my way over like a giddy school kid I nudged the shoulder of the chief Altinian engineering overseer, he turned around, a happy smiley on his facemask. "Greetings Ishdia." I smiled. All Altinians had a built-in idenfication chip in their inner brain, introductions were easy and fast, efficiency was the name of the game.

"So you're the hotshot they picked for this whole "Spectre routine" eh?" I couldn't believe it. I hadn't prompted the head engineers ID chip for a name but that word! "Hotshot?" only one person I ever knew in my life used that word. "Dad!? Dad! What are you doing all the way out here!?" I quite frankly gave him a hug, which he promptly returned, only to kindly engrain his armored knuckles into the top of my helmet, making a most uncomfortable ceramic sound, not to worry though, scratch proof! "When I heard my boy was out here in the middle of the high and mighty citadel sector of space I had to sign up to make sure this damn bucket of bolts they call a joint project doesn't fall apart at the seams with you on it!"

"Daaaad! Don't say that within earshot of the other engineers!" He just laughed, a -_- sign on his faceplate. "These guys call themselves engineers but I've had to kick half a dozen of them in the posterior for trying to cheapskate on systems! One of them tried to substitute a YB-38 wireless transceiver with a TY-12 wireless transceiver, that thing is so high maintenance it'd be driving you insane to have to calibrate it every single hour to keep it in tip top condition! Trust me on this, half these guys haven't got a clue about what makes a secure wireless network!"

"Daad. Calm down!" I laughed, prodding him in his armored chest. "How are things going by the way? How's mom? - She's fine, but she's gotten even more tom-boyish since the last time we saw you, this time she's all about mech racing! I swear, she is so much like a boy right now I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't marry a gender confused femboy! - Dad, she'll mentally slap your ass for that one... - She probably already knows. - I better go now though, getting this ship going and all, but if I live I'm taking us out on the town! And yes, mom can come too! - Oh I'd love to see what she'd do about that! Our kid, an honorary Spectre, just dont come home with more hardware in you than you already have or she'll mistake you for the household mech! - I'll try not to!" I giggled, giving dad one final hug. "I'll cya around dad! Don't get it in deep with the other engineers, your hospital bills already high enough as it is you old brawler! - Look whose talking pitfighter! Go show them what Altinians are made of! - I'll do more than that!"

I laughed, heading back to the team but not before giving dads visor a nudge, I had a good laugh, a final hug and I made my way back towards the group, a couple, at least to me, looked like they were giving me the eye. "Dad. Lt. Commander Ishisuna Kiyoshi, head network specialist for the fifth Altinian Rapid-response Aeterian Guard. Didn't expect to see him here." I smiled, now I was all ready and pumped, nothing like a word from your old man to get you hyped up!

I hope they realize someday that jabs like that don't help your chances of survival when the person your jabbing at is your only support, Lorik muttered in his head as he followed the rest of the group to the hanger. He noted the increased security presence. Instead of normal C-Sec however, the patrols we're Alliance and Turian regulars. Military forces? On the citadel? What kind of ship has the council built that they don't trust C-Sec protecting it, he wondered.

Before he could dwell on the oddity of the situation further, the group arrived at the primary airlock. A holographic projector warmed, and the glowing outline of the Citadel's VI shimmered into place. "Hello Spectres, it is a pleasure to greet you," the VI's Asari Avatar shimmered as it accessed its records, Final preparations of The Archangel are nearing completion.

The door slid away to reveal the Archangel. As the others goggled at it, Lorik was more concentrated on the Human in the C-Sec uniform leaning against a large coil of Fiber Optic cable. Captain Bailey sat up as the group filed in, then made beeline for Lorik. "You know its not normal for Turians to abandon investigations mid-stride. But I guess this whole situation makes up for it," he said with a sly grin.

"Well when the council beckons there isn't much I can do. But its still a lot of effort wasted," Lorik said with a sigh.

He looked up with surprise when the human chuckled. "Ha. Well I wouldn't say it was wasted." Baily activated his Omni tool, A small holographic projection appeared on his wrist, it showed the view of a C-Sec holding room, complete with a Volus, a human male, and a Turian in wrist restraints. "Your hint paid off. We caught them trying to manually disconnect the docking clamps on their freighter. Turns out the Keepers in that sector decided to do some unscheduled maintenance."

Lorik couldn't help but laugh with Bailey. "Well that's one of the better parts of my day. I assume that because your here you've heard?"

Bailey crossed his arms, his face moving from a grin to a look of thought. "I've been working C-Sec for quite awhile, and I've even had some dealings with Commander Shepard, but I've never heard of a mass recruitment of Specters. All I can say is watch your self."

Lorik nodded at his assessment, "It surprised me too. Thank you for following up on my lead. At least I'll be able to sleep tonight." In an uncharacteristic move for a Turian, Lorik stuck his hand out for ritual hand shake.

Bailey grinned and took Lorik's hand, "Well it looks like us humans are rubbing off on you after all. I'll see you next time your on the Citadel, we can get a beer." With that Bailey turned and headed towards the airlock. Lorik then turned towards the ship. While the other swooned over it he wasn't terribly impressed. All these pieces work fine alone, but sometimes a ship is less then the sum of its parts, he thought to himself.

Robert gave the ship a satisfied smile before turning to Lorik. Much as he didn't like it, the Turian would know his stuff. Robert walked over to him, "Lorik right? Looks like all that's left is to pick a destination. I'd say go for closest, but getting onto Tuchanka is gonna be a pain."
Robert tapped his chin, "Illium's close to the Terminus Systems, which means we should probably treat it as hostile territory. The Voyager Cluster is the furthest target from here. My vote's for the Voyager cluster and swing around."

A young Quarian stumbled into Ishida while carrying thruster cable. The Quarian was female and she panicked, "Oh Keela, I'm sorry! I wasn't watching!" She shifted nervously in her exosuit adorned with red cloth pieces.

"Eep! Wha!?" *I turned around and noticed the Quarian, the bumping had nearly knocked me off balance, or rather it would have if it weren't for my reflexes and my suits gyroscopic balancer kicking, making it look like I tilted just a bit like an animated character. Turning around I displayed a O_- smiley on my helmet, as if to cutely say; "Who did bump me?" even though I already knew it was the Quarian.

Quarians and Altinians had a bit of a history with each other, both famed for our undestanding of robotics, cybernetics, artificial intelligence and defensive shield technology, Quarians had a bit more of a reason to work on their shields than we did though.

"Iie, the fault is mine miss, I could have stepped out of the way if I had noticed you coming this way."

I stated politely, bending down and picking up the thruster cabling for the rather flamboyantly so dressed Quarian, bright red garments, I smiled, I liked someone who dressed how they desired, the cabling not weighing anything to me due to my armors more advanced servos and synthetic musculature.

"Need a hand though? The last thing I want to do is see someone slave themselves out without anyone offering a helping hand, besides I'm getting bored of not doing something with my hands."

I smiled, my armored ears displaying a happy motion and my tail swaying to and fro.

"Where do you need this cabling to go?"
