The RTS (Simple Brainstorming)
Just so it's clear, this isn't an RP idea. Instead it's just some kind of brainstorming.
What it is, is people who join this ran make their races(or use old ones) and apply them to an RTS type game. We won't actually be playing, just designing troops and the like.
Species can have their troop type or unit of focus, but nothing can be ungodly more powerful than someone elses.
What I'll do is call out a building first. The first one will be 'Town Center', you can explain the boons or drawbacks of your town center, then we'll go to units produced by that building, in this case 'Worker'.
You can feel free to think outside the box, just remember this is supposed to be made like a possible game. The makers of it would not make one species incredibly better than all the others.
Also, this isn't to be anything serious, since it's not actually being 'played' there's not much pressure for you to post. Needless to say I hope this would be a idea in which people won't get in big huge angry arguments which seem so popular around here lol

Yay! RTS's are awesome! I think I'd focus on robotic and cybernetic forces, sort of like the Protoss, few, expensive units but they balance out in being able to take on many lesser units at once, though being highly specialized would require backup from other specialized units as well.

Nation Description: Lightfireans have a sense of royalty about them, they think that they're perfect. Physically they're not very strong, so they hide behind layers of technology. Wolvends on the other hand are nearly bred for war, but they depend on Lightfirean technology. Lightfireans aren't well liked, but their advanced technology dissuades attackers.
Nation's Focuses: Ground forces, Lightfirean powered armor is very advanced.
Nation's Downfalls: Only one type of air unit, and it's expensive. Only two kinds of ground vehicles, one of them is expensive

I’m just going to use my most developed nation for this.
Nation Name: The first Galactic Systems Alliance of the Manavaran galaxy. (Galactic Systems Alliance or merely GSA)
Species Name:
Arianrhod Ormr (Translates to Sky Children)
Species Description:
(Image to come! X3 Till then I have a description) In truth it varies considerably(Will explain in nation description), but the base species are similar to anthropomorphic dragons. The normal height is from 5’6” to almost 7’ tall. Though most fall in the middle 6’ range. Dragons come in all colors and have a tendency to change colors throughout their lifetimes, if they did not undergo more extreme changes.
Nation Description:
Prehistory
With the destruction of earth’s Ecosystem at the end of the 21st century, humanity, and the dragons headed for the other planets in the solar system. The dragons heading for the outer reaches of the sol system, conversely the humans stayed near the center of the sol system. This schism of the races began a bloody chain reaction over the next one hundred years. As the humans using the limited terraforming technology of the time, turned Mars into a habitual world. (if one can call it that) While others of their species went to Mercury in order to establish underground cities and feed of the sun for power as solar cells had a much higher output at that distance from the sun. This became the Inner System Protectorate, otherwise known as the ISP.
The other two races moved to the outer reaches of the system with no suitable planets to terraform in the outer reaches the dragons turned their skills to engineering, and building massive starbases, and habitation complexes in orbits of the gas giants of the solar system, using the hydrogen from the planets to power their fusion reactors. The Outer system federation was formed on December, 31, 2099 one month before the scripting of the ISP charter.
The next 75 years that followed where not easy by any standards, radical mining programs in the outer area of the system, trial and error terraforming on mars, more people died. Once 2176 rolled around there was considerable tension between the two fledging powers in the sol system. The ISP started an aggressive naval building program in order to compete with the OSF’s considerable fleet of ships. As of 2176, the Inner system’s fleet was 70 ships strong; with this the first of the unification wars began. The Outer system federation was caught off guard by the aggression shown from their sister nation. Over the next three years the ISP beat the OSF back farther away from the sun into the outer reaches of the solar system. The OSF with little military experience of its own lost battle after battle. But the overall purpose of the war was never achieved, as of 2180 the OSF was able to reclaim 50% of its lost territory before the end of the war, to the Protectorates’ chagrin. This lost of territory opened up ancient wound that had long sense healed. Racal culling became common though it was never televised it was rumored, thousands more died on both sides.
With the dial turning the next fifth teen years where uneasy for OSF, without the ability to mine the asteroid belt they were forced move to the moons of the gas giants, along with mining the kepler belt with only a fraction of the useable materials the asteroid belt possessed. November 4th 2195 was the date that change the sol system, and the future of what would become the GSA. The Inner system protectorate destroyed a key hydrogen refining plant on titan, this was the main plant that sent hydrogen to the fusion reactors of ever ship and base in the OSF, it was a nearly crippling blow to the outer system. Within 2 hours OSF prime mister, Fair day Rockefeller, passed resolution 283909, it was a declaration of war.
This war, was not an analog to the previous one, it was nearly one sided, over the past 15 years the parliament of the OSF had decided a military buildup was in order as they intended to recapture there lost territory, with the ISP making the first move they were able to take it a step farther. With the Martians defecting from the main ISP government the inner system lost 70% of its work force and raw material production. The battle to retake Mars nearly wiped out the human population on Mars leaving a tiny fraction of the 40 million people that lived on the world alive. The war ended with the obliteration of mercury. From orbit deep penetrating nuclear weapons where used to strike at the deeply baried cities, this act of genocide nearly wiped the human race dooming the species to a slow and gradual die off. With only 300,000 humans left alive the parliament of the OSF put humans on the endangered species list, though it was only a token gesture at best.
Formation
With the advent of the Harper nearlight drive system in 2203, the outer system federation began the colonization of nearby star systems. Massive ships kilometers in length were dispatched to nearby systems in search of habitable worlds. It was then with the expanding world base, that the government of the OSF merely didn’t meet the needs of the growing nations and thus was reformed. The GSA was born.
The Harper Era
(2298-2304)
With near light drives looking like the way into the future the newly formed GSA under the Harper administration set on a massive colonization and annexation program. Fleets of ships where sent in all directions, destinations of the worlds farther and farther out. With the demand for ships, Sky Dragon Innovations rose to power, with its resources it was able to keep up with the private and governmental demands for ships. This era is known for its rapid expansion of the GSA boarders, within 100 years the Alliance was able to quadruple its boarders while still remaining unknown to the rest of the galaxy.
Sharron era
(2305-2678)
When the Harper era came to a close the alliance was in a golden age, the Sharron era put a stop to that. The advent of the Hyperdrive technology, made the already wealthy SDI truly massive. The size of the GSA tripled over night with its ability to communicate and move at faster than the speed of light conversely started a down turn in the political sector. Greed and corruption spread through this time period. Also the first major galactic war between the GSA and the Divine Star Empire. Weapons research was at an apex, weapons of terrible power came from the GSA, till this day the effects of that war effect the current balance of power in the Manavaran galaxy. The Sharron era saw a drastic increase in the amount of bio technology used by the GSA, it was said that their bio-technology evolved at a one to one ratio with to their inorganic technology allowing for drastic changes in health care along with the first know implementation of Bio weapons on a planetary scale. And in a galactic first, the use of bio-organic weapons (BOW) in space warfare, with the use of BOW tipped weapons.
BOW’s where first used in the Aquila Rift during the Rainer assault on the Chernobyl system.
Ferros Era
(2678-present)
Current era of the GSA, this era ushered in a new brand of ship construction along with the Hades conflict in which the worlds of the Hades expanse. New ships like the Ares super carrier played a key role in the conflict, as the war lasted just under two years; it was brief compared to the Holy Wars which had plagued the GSA during the Sharron Era but had given the GSA the image of bully so to speak, as the empire had used its vast superior military to crush what should have been nothing more than an international incident at most…
Government
The official government of the GSA is a Parliamentary commonwealth. With one house making the all the governing decisions, while this in theory gives the people control over their government via elected officials it is a complete front. The government has no teeth what so ever, the real power is in the hands of the corporations of the Alliance. Each of the corporations, whether it is Sky Dragon Innovations, United Agriculture, Regolith industries, Nova Ship Inc, Black Sun Pharmaceuticals, or a Joint efforts of countless smaller companies which don’t possess the fiscal might to make declarations on their own. Should the people want to make their opinions heard, the stock market is a much more powerful tool than the voting booth because a corporation can lose its entire wealth overnight should they promote an unpopular decision.
Military
The GSA has a partially privatized military. The military is contracted to the government via Sky Dragon Innovations and Nova Inc with joint contracts to Black Sun Pharmaceuticals for medical gear and Bio Organic weapons. While the military still operates similar to other militaries which are under the direct control of the government, it gives the corporations much more power than would normally be possible. The power of the GSA military has been shown during the Holy Wars between the DSE and the GSA and during the Hades conflict.
Demographics and Culture
The lives of the people that live in the GSA are dominated by the mega corporations the competition between them. As no corporation controls more than fifty three percent of the market, they must still compete, even if they do not compete with each other. This affects the lives of the people in the GSA as well. As everything from colonization to the police is privatized even the military is contracted via the corporations. As for the people that live in the GSA, they live in a high technology environment with entertainment and education of the masses being a top priority. Bio technology being the area of study promoted by Black Sun, those that show some promise are swept up and educated free of charge should they agree to work for the company for the set amount of time. SDI does similar things but for the area of mechanical, aerospace, and software engineering.
Free will is the most protected right, so valued that even prisoners have full freedom of expression. One’s body is considered a template to do what you will, gene and cybernetic augmentation; even total genetic rewrite is common.
Humans make up about .02% of the GSA population.

Nation's Focuses:
Antimatter:
Used most abundantly for planet side operations, these systems allow for massive industrial sites and whole cities to run off of one reactor site. Most antimatter is made on site, and this poses a problem for ships as they are able to carry the raw materials needed for the Antimatter reactors.
Bio Skin Armor:
Bio Skin armor is a highly effective form of organic armor found on many GSA vessels. It is compased of C.A.R.B.O.N or Calcium-uranium Ablative Resonance BOnded Nanofibers. These armor is almost totally resistant to the boiling that occurs when heating by conventional energy weapons it instead does one of two things. Cracks, or vaporizes. Once Vaporized the armor acts as dispersion cloud reducing the effectiveness of incoming energy weapons. Its density combined with the thickness allows it to act as a conventional armor system. A specialty of this armor is that it has the ability to regenerate when damaged allowing it close holes and gaps in the armor upwards of fifty feet wide in under half an hour. Because of this most GSA ships can sustain a massive amount of damage before subcoming to enemy fire, doubly so if there are gaps and lulls in the battle.
Bioengineering:
The GSA are masters of constructing living weapons and have no problems with using said weapons. Some creations have gained sentience and because of strict laws regarding those with enough intelligence to make their own choices have been integrated into society. The Theta is one such example. Though there are others as well. Most of the Bioengineering goes into making living weapons to be used in combat. Many with carcasses made of material similar to GSA bioarmor.
ENORMUS Economy and resource base:
The entire nation is run by corporations where money is power along with thousands of worlds to it name. In its home universe it’s a galactic superpower.

Lack of Restraint:
The Nation, doesn’t really have an ethic code, if something needs to get done, they are more than willing to spend lives to do it, withier they be clones, or people who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time intelligence is the only thing that saves someone, which can be stripped if absolutely nesscary.
Shielding technology:
Kinda a moot point with them, they don’t have it.
Energy weapons:
Aside from a Gamma type laser system, moot point as well, secondly plasma based weapons happen to be slightly more effective against their armor systems.
Over competition:
As a species they are highly competitive and thus slows down any course of action that has to take place on a national level.
Spread thin:
Recent wars have spread the GSA navy thinly over its populated areas, along with ground forces.
(The GSA neither has an affinity for space combat nor is ground combat, what makes them deadly the enormous resources and will to use said resources.)

I've been thinking of ways you could apply your strong economy. I was thinking you could build a special building called a 'supply pad' where you would receive supplies regularly. The other option was more effective worker units. What did you have in mind?

Nation Description:
Not so much a nation as a business... the HDD has taken the greater majority of all three nations and put them in a sort of Merc's Army, for they would either be payed to fight or they would fight those who opposed them, sending wave upon wave of soldiers... but that was along time ago, now they are a full nation doing what they have been doing for the past few centuries, and due to massed amount of 'racial mingling', there have been newer more exotic styles of soldiers among them.
Nation's Focuses:
Conscription - Due to the their current masses, the HDD has the ability to pull a great amount of troops into combat at low costs.
Nation's Downfalls:
Inexperience - Due to the nations random grabbing of troops, their military is largely inexperienced, with few amongst them who are.

Species description: Pocket dragons. Do I really need more than this?
Description: The AGSF cannot rely on brute strength to fight in planetary combat. They are most often the first to rely on diplomacy. However, they realize that Diplomacy doesn’t always work, and when combat becomes inevitable, they, by necessity, have to rely on war machines rather than soldiers. The AGSF has no soldiers, and instead work to develop technology that gives them a bit of an upper hand. This comes at the cost of being slower to produce units.
Focuses: The AGSF mechanical force is designed to have two major benefits:
1: Strong defense: AGSF units focus on fitting themselves with extremely powerful defenses to ensure that damages accrued are minimal. This includes shields and armor, and on larger air units as well as a couple of the larger land units, point defense.
2: Compactness: AGSF units are designed to be transported fairly easily by their own transports, so things like rail guns can be folded and stowed, legs can be retracted into walker bodies, et cetera.
Downfalls:
Few numbers: The AGSF prefers larger mechanical units to soldiers, for obvious reasons. If this were like, say StarCraft Terrans, it’d be like throwing out any units able to be produced by the barracks and relying on factories and Star Ports. However, I am not the first person to come up with this strategy, it seems.
Expensive: Even to the fairly large resource base of the AGSF, mechanical units aren’t cheap. These things are state of the art machines of crawling/walking/hovering death, not cannon fodder.
I'll probably add more in about their history later, but this should hopefully suffice till then.

Description: Massive tangled structure of interweaving pillars of Baryonic metal, and a special clear variant that serves like glass - but far stronger. Just like Lightfireans to build a completely over-designed structure.

Health: 1400 (base 1000)
Shields: 150 (base 300)
Armor: 10% damage reduction (base 0%)

Description: Far more intelligent design than the structure that produces it. As a flying unit it can get to wherever it needs to go easily enough. And the shape of it's design allows a building to be built between parts that hang down that house it's mining and construction devices.Stats

Sheilds: 5 (base 5)
Armor: 10% damage reduction (base 0%)
Flying
Lightfirean Benefits
Lightfirean units and buildings are protected by Baryonic armor, which gives them a 10% damage reduction bonus from the very start, armor upgrades will boost it even even higher. The armor also adds more health to their units.
Lightfirean ground forces are very powerful, but lack variety in vehicles.
However, in trade off they don't' have as good shields. While in total their overall all life points are higher, shields regenerate - armor has to be repaired.

Well placed thought went into the designing of the mech, using its four arms to either construct, mine or protect a base.
Health: 35 (Base: 30
Armor: 25% (Base: 0%)
Shields: 15 (Base: 5)
HDD Benefits:
1. Ex-CRS Crystalline materials - Due to its impact and energy resistant qualities, this adds a key role in the armor of the HDD's soldiers, vehicles and buildings. Adds health and increased damage resistance, but increases build and production time.
2.Sindrian weaponry - Their weaponry were well made and maintained Gauss weaponry, which was used an applied by the HDD to the main forces and some of the more 'special' forces. Adds damage and fire rate, but at the cost of more slightly expensive troops.
3. Jan-na'Ki-eel training - The Jan-na'Ki-eel are great at training their soldiers for combat... in the fastest way possible, which ends up leaving the soldier in a sense unready... but highly motivated to fight for a cause that was drilled into his or her mind. Units come at a cheaper price, but their damage, armor and life is reduced.

It is, unless you mentioned your races having advanced armor, health and shields you have to run at 'base' level. From what I see you didn't so...
Also the base that I listed is what I mean, the base level doesn't change for everyone it stays the same.
So, unless you specifically have bonuses for it, you town center would have the basic:
Health: 1000
Sheilds: 300
Armor: 0%
