FurAudio would like stories and will pay

Sorry about the title, but I wanted something writers here would click on, because I think lots of you will be interested in this. I saw an ad on FA for FurAudio, and it seems very interesting.

You submit one of your stories (Be it short or full book) and then they get one of their Narrators (Which I soon hope to be) to record it. When it is finished, they put it on their site and people can buy it for whatever price the author (That is to say, you) chooses, which can even be nothing. However, you would get 30% of any sales made, with the Narrator getting between 40 and 60% depending on if they edit their own work.

"At the end of each month, the author will receive an email detailing all the sales information for that month. This information comes in both email form, and as an attached CSV file.
At the end of each month, the author receives a paypal payment to the address of their choosing for the net amount they’ve earned in that period.
Popular titles (based on ratings and number of sales) may be considered for physical release. (At no cost to the author)"

If anyone is considering this, and I know we have the talent on the site because I've read some of your stories, might I make a suggestion; If you have a long story, try sending it in twice, once being the full version and once being a single chapter or the prologue or something like that. Make the single chapter free, and then people can hear that and be more willing to buy the full version. I'm not sure if that's actually allowed, and there might be previews or something available anyway, but it's something to bear in mind

I'm afraid I can't say. I only know as much as is on the site at the moment. I imagine they will, because they'd lose too big a chunk of profit if they didn't XD

Yeppers lol seems like listening to audio of a yiffy story would be odd though... Especially if you got caught, I couldn't even imagine the embarrassment

Just a little update, I'm officially one of the Narrators on FurAudio now

You can see me on the list of narrators, as well as being able to hear some examples from the other narrators. My own demo should be up in a day or so.

So once again, if you'd like to earn money from your writing, you know where to go. I've talked to the admin, and he seems like a pretty good guy, so if you have a question, like SA, I think he'd be happy to answer.
