art program suggestion.

I just got a great deal on a Intuos4.

I was wondering if there is any good but low priced drawing programs out there that I can use. $100ish tops.

My tablet did come with autodesk sketchbook and corel painter sketch pad.

I'm trying out paint tool Sai trial right now. So others besides this.

Well, The GIMP is free. It can use your tablet and has a lot of functions and tools to work with. It's worth a try at the very least.

Just tried GIMP out.
Not bad at all for a free program. More features than I thought something free would have.

Seems great to practice to use to get used to a tablet.
Something a little bit better would be nice eventually.

Hope I can get good enough eventually to do commissions.

You should go for a Photoshop if you want to put your Intuos4 to a good use.
I know it was a bit expensive for a starter but it's a well worth investment for a long terms if you as me.

Can't get right now with a con coming up(con going to be as much as this program), after I get more used to the tablet and hopefully to a point where I feel comfortable to do commissions I think I will look into it.
