Area of Focus: 'Security' - NASA acknowledges the possibility that a crewman might become dangerous for any number of reasons, and thought it wise to appoint someone to the job of the law keeper. Also, though it's less voiced, the also acknowledge the fact their could be hostile intelligent life out there.

Skills: Mainly trained in close quarters and urban combat - you don't need a sniper on a ship which you can't see straight for more than eight feet without something obstructing the view. He's been fully trained on the special weapons aboard the ship. Apart from combat, he also has enough knowledge to assist in repairs.

Short Bio: Through most of his youth he trained himself in many of the martial arts, mastering a majority of them. When he finished high school he jumped straight into the military, his focus was on urban warfare. After staying in the military for 10 years he left back to the homeland. He worked as a security guard for NASA. With his track record it earned him candidacy as the 'policeman' on Voyager 3. They gave him the full training for coping with space, and trained him to use the special weapons that would have to be used in such an environment. He out-shot all the other candidates, so was the obvious choice for the mission.

Name: Harold Thacker

Gender: Male

Age: 41

Rank: Ensign

Area of Focus: Mechanical systems management and repair.

Skills: His job isn't too much different from Ted's, but old Ted is getting up in his years, so mainly just lingers around the dark matter drive and focuses on that. Harold knows the ship just about as well so manages most of the rest of the ship for him. He also focuses a lot on the probes, shuttles, and landers.

Short Bio: Harold's been with NASA ever since he graduated college with majors that apply to the field. Most of his achievements there are overshadowed by one major one: in 2055 the International Space Station suffered a catastrophic failure after being impacted by a large piece of space debris, he was on board at the time; the rest of the crew fled to the attached emergency shuttle, but Harold stayed and managed to save the station from final destruction. His heroism essentially won him the ticket to this job.

Area of Focus: Doctor(also a vet)

Skills: She has majors in both doctoring and as a veterinarian, which makes her the most qualified for treating furries and humans

Short Bio: She devoted her whole life to caring for others, both humans and animals. She worked as a volunteer at both the vet office and at a hospital as soon as it was legal for her to work. After she graduated High School, with A's in all her health science classes, she went on to college to earn a PHD in both doctoring and veterinarian fields. The medical field for furries still hasn't been fully created, so people with both vet and doctor skills make the best candidates for treating furries.

Area of Focus: "Supply Officer" a made up job that mainly means skilled at everything

Skills: She's capable of doing any job on the ship. Not as well as the specialists, but it's good to have an extra hand for anything.

Short Bio: She's NASA's little girl for this mission. They've paid for all her education, which is in more fields than is listable. She'sbasicly been raised for this job. However, it does seem strange that with all NASA invested in her that she's only ranked ensign on Voyager 3...

Main Systems

Bridge - Houses the main command deck and main computers. Navigation controls, sensor feedback, and probe management are major sites on the bridge; however there are many other controls there as well. The only other area of the ship capable of processing so many functions is engineering. In a tribute to Star Trek, the bridge is laid out a lot like the bridge of the Enterprise, the room isn't round though, it's rectangular(longer in length, shorter in width).

Living Space - Only one of two sections that have centrifugal force to generate artificial gravity. It include the crew's personal quarters, doctors office, exercise room, mess hall, armory, and supply rooms.

Bio-Spheres - The second structure that has centrifugal gravity. Three of the spheres are for growing plant life for food, feed, or medical purposes. The other sphere is for chickens, which were the most logical choice for meat based food. One of the plant spheres is designed to look like a meadow, hopefully to allow the crew to feel closer to nature and home.

Engineering(DMD and Fusion Core) - By far the most important part of the ship. The term 'Engineering Section' is another tribute to Star Trek, but was really the easiest term to use for this part of the ship. Both the fusion power core and the dark matter drive are in this area, both are simply the whole thing that makes this mission even possible. Command functions can be re-routed from the bridge to here is the bridge was unavailable for whatever reason. Those are just the big name functions of the section, virtually all systems are dependent on engineering.

Sub-Light Engines - Sometimes considered part of engineering, but it's still quite a walk away from it. The sub-light engine is imperative for moving the ship through the warped space of the DMD, and through plantary systems(the DMD is weakened by other gravity wells). The size of it's structure to to help it endure the strength of the fusion based thrust it uses. It has a dueal use however, the massive dish can be used to amplify a signal hundreds of times over.

Sub-Systems

Sensors & Probe Launcher - Sensors can provide a lot of data provided you are in range, they are not FTL capable which means the ship will have to drop out of FTL to use them. The probe launcher fires lander-orbiter drones not unlike the ones used to explore the solar system in the past, the orbiter and rover combination can provide even more detail about an environment than the sensors can. Ted also made a modification to the launcher, the captain would be interested to hear it.

'Various Shuttle-Vehicles' - To be more specific, the space shuttle Atlantis was re-serviced and docked with the Voyager 3 - Atlantis is a great choice for landing on low-gravity, no-atmosphere environments(it can't take off a real planet on it's own), it's also great for making major repairs to Voyager 3. Another vessel is the 'Pheonix' a recently designed vehicle scheduled to make a true replacement to the shuttle program. Pheonix is capable of landing and taking off from full gravity and atmospheric planets. Two others are small pods, nicknamed 'Reno' and 'Bob' - they're one man craft designed specifically for making repairs to Voyager 3.

Emergency Fuel, and the Sub and Main Solar panels are all self explanatory.
It should also be noted that Voyager 3 has two duel-vulcan guns(one on top, one on bottom) and thrusters all over the ship
Also, even though only two section have artificial gravity, the floor of the entire ship has a light layer of Velcro, and the crewmembers have shoes with the undersides that have the other part of the Velcro. It's a lighter version than most velcrow straps, but basically it allows to to walk around more like you might back home - you';re still weighless though, and if you're in a hurry floating is probably faster.
