More "Recent Threads"?

Any hope of adding an option to display more than ten thread titles on the main forum page?

Maybe an option to show all threads that have been posted to in the last x days?

Or a way for the subforums to show more than just the title of the most recently commented on thread?

Things that i'd wanted to follow or possibly reply to drop off the main list too fast, and i can't always remember which subforum they were in :[

Well some of those things are software limitations. I could increase the recent threads to 15 or 20, but the recent threads are meant more to give you an idea of what's happening, not to give you a complete list.

I would recommend trying out the "What's New?" button at the top of the page. That gives you a complete list of everything that has been posted to since the last time you logged in. It really makes it a lot easier to keep track of stuff that way, since it's all on one page instead of being seperated by forum.

Thanks, i'll give that a go.

(but still, i'm often interested in threads that were posted to recently but not since i last logged in.. a (per-user?) option to increase the number of Most Recent threads shown just seemed like the simplest solution)

I think we should all make an effort to cut down on the number of threads in general... Prolly delete any thread that hasn't been posted in a month's time

Really? Why? Making navigating new(ish) stuff easier is better than deleting old stuff, IMHO.

Unfortunately we don't have the option to make it a per user setting as far as the recent threads go. Maybe the best compromise would be to raise the number to 15?
