Which looks better?

Which looks better to you guys? the bottom left or the top right? they are both the same ship (capital ship of 20Km long). I'm just not sure which I should use since I like both actually.

I think I like the bottom left one better. It looks a little simpler and cleaner.

Me too, it looks more symmetric & therefore easier to steer.

It's a tough call for me, but yeah, I'd say bottom one too. I like the elongated bow of the top, but with the rest of the ship being symmetrical it just gives the impression of a mistake.

The side i'm guessing, with the "top" on the left (we're in space, so "upwards" means "away from the engine").

(For once i actually kinda like how streamlined these look, like a jellyfish or something...)

In that case I like the first one. too much symmetry is kind of boring. The asymmetrical design makes it more interesting and give is some sense of weight (the longest arm on the bottom kind of looks like a keel)

Um maybe the longest arm of the upper ship isn't on the bottom, but hanging way out sideways (& thereby throwing the thrust vector away from the centre of mass)..?

(honestly, i prefer boring but realistic ships (even 20km long ones).. it just makes suspension of disbelief easier 4 me)
