    Default The Modular RP game

    So I'm wanting to start a RP. But I have so many ideas in my head I literally can't concentrate on one so I have a proposition. You all give me a setting, a genre, and a focus then I'll make a RP out of it.

    A setting: Deep Space, capital ship, planet side. And a time period.

    Genre: Survival horror, Space Opera, post-apocalyptic.... you get the idea

    Focus: What are we focusing on? Realistic Combat? Mystery Solving? Deep character interaction?

    Deep space, between various small vessels and the derelict hulks of capital vessels. And post-apocalypse. light/realistic combat, and a pretty clear mystery.

    Definately with a capitol ship in space, maybe the aftermath of some grand war? X3 I like exploring space and solving mysteries. Combat is never a bad idea but it'd be best if we didn't come with heavy weapons X3. Yay! X3 fun shall ensue!

    You know, if you pretty much combined everything that has been mentioned so far, you'd basically get Battlestar Galactica.

    Capitol Ship, Space Opera, Definitely oriented around character interaction, with a little-big mystery plot(basically they look into this one little mystery and then uncover some sort of bigger plot to take over the ship/assassinate a high official/destroy the ship/etc.) Minor combat, probably mostly involving assassination attempts and lots of running away XD I agree with bios though, no heavy weapons, just small arms, melee, and/or suit combat.

    For me, mystery and character-centred RPs are the best. I don't really do all to well with action in RP, so from a selfish standpoint, very little is good for me XD

    I could go with this. I can do Posts once a Day - I have time to kill.

    I tend to do Characters who are a bit rough, talk in bad english, but tend to say a fair bit. Nothing spectalar in skills and abilities - just a good slogging Grunt, but brighter than he looks.
    I am doing the heavy backup in a Gang of Mercs ( Firefly era ) on another site - rough, but a Gent really.
    Don't want a command position really - I tend to like heavy weapons for firefights,
    and wicked knives for "close work".
    Can we pick our own personal weapons, clothing, character portayal ??
