HBO's Game of Thrones Trailer

Hey guys, it seems like this series is indeed going to happen. I have yet to read the books, but I may just start next month when my audible credits come in. What I can see from this trailer though, is a show that I absolutely want to watch. Check it out.

Hmm, it does look kind of interesting. I get the feeling that it might be a bit slow to start with, but even if I don't end up watching it they certainly seem to have done a good job.

We'll have to wait and see. I am looking forward to it though. Maybe we should make that a scififur group watch thing. It could be a lot of fun.

I've read the first three books.

It is indeed a fantastic series worthy of praise, but be prepared to have your free time sucked away from you.

Man, this is some GOOD TELEVISION. The acting is great, the sets and imagery are great, the writing is great (of course, it's based on George R. R. Martin).

Also, BOOBS!!!!

Okay, I'll be watching it tomorrow. I can't wait, it REALLY looks great! And since I don't know the books, it'll be all new to me.

Just watched it at a friends house. It's pretty impressive for a TV show. As a lot of people have said, it has a very... film feel to it. In a good way.

Lots of nudity and a fair bit of gore, as a warning, but it's all fairly tasteful in its own respective field. Gore is quick and not sickening, and the nudity is often to show the depravity of the male characters doing the looking, so it's actually relevant as well as being ridiculous fan-service XD

Oh, and as a note to interest the furry part of you all: WOLF CUBS!!! BLOODY WOLF CUBS!!! (And that is Bloody in the British sense of "Oh bloody hell!" rather than covered in blood.)

There are a couple eyebrow raising characters, but a lot of genuinely likable and funny characters, and the acting is well above average for a TV show, never mind a fantasy TV show. I'd say 4.5/5 after the first episode.
