SciFiFur Store Photos and Comments

Thought I'd start a thread for people to post about things they may have bought from the SciFiFur store. I don't expect many people have done so far, but this will stay around for the future.

Please post photos of your item if you have any, and describe it and what you think about it. If need be don't be afraid to be negative. After all, positive reviews only mean anything if it could have been negative.

So I'll kick us off with my beloved Director's Mug. This one was a gift from Rick for Christmas, and features art from the incredible Legacy350. There was a bit of a mix-up at first, and I had to re-order my mug, but Zazzle were good about it and covered the error completely out of pocket. I didn't have to return the first mug (which I still haven't used, but you can never have too many mugs!) and they refunded not only the original cost but also the tariffs and shipping (which, considering I had it from America to Britain, is no mean feat)

Second time was absolutely spot-on. It's the mug I use most while I'm at home, and I don't take it with me to Uni because I don't want it broken, stolen or lost. You can see the awesome image quality below:



(The white dots above the 'd' in 'director' are reflections, by the way, not a fault on the image. Oh, and yes. That is of course Fallout New Vegas in the background. It's my room, what did you expect?)

It looks a little smaller in the photo than it actually is, but I think you get a good idea of the quality. I am one happy puppy!

So have any of you bought anything from the SciFiFur store yet? If so what did you think of it? Or even if you've bought anything from Zazzle before, what did you think of them as a service?

I've got the stainless steel mug with my picture on it, also courtesy of Legacy350. If I had a camera I'd take a photo of it, but I don't. What I can say is that putting my mostly gray picture on a stainless steel backdrop yields an unintended but very cool effect. I do like the stuff from Zazzle, it does seem to be a cut above most print on demand things.
