Advanced: Good Detection, Fast FTL Drives, Stealthy Devices.

Normal: Weapons, Armour.
Poor: No Fusion Power except very big ones, limited Stealth Detection

Weakness: No Shields, No Quick Repairs

Nations Dossier/History:
We discovered FTL Drives 7 years ago – and then found some Tech advantages in Systems which were abandoned ancient Battlefields.

We encountered an Alien Race of ammonia breathers in the process of Colonising a System - and destroying all Carbon eco-systems.
In the process of encounters, we were surprised to discover that they used RADIO Waves as a Weapon – but soon learned that they could be killed by Radio Waves.
We accidentally ( really ) destroyed one of their Fleets – by attempting to communicate.
We then tried to negotiate with them, but they kidpnapped our Deplomatic Mission, and then tortured most of the personnel to death.
We went on a Rescue Mission – but our Scout Commander who had been Kidnapped, managed to escape with the help of some of their Alien Slave Species, from a gignatic Alderson Disc which was one of their Systems.
We learned from the ex-captives that the “nasty” Aliens were a race of Hive Drones, mindless and directed by a central Hive mind – who had built a gigantic Empire, by Enslaving every Species they encountered, and destroying Species who were not useful or who fought back.
Since then we have been on a WAR footing – building Ships, Shipyards, Defences.

The Sol Dominion is based on the peoples of Sol, at this time some 12 Billion people – but with growing populations on further Colonies.

The Attica Dominion is built from Earth Colonists who have expanded rapidly by massive applications of Modified Cloning on Argos. At one time there were 20 Billion Atticans.

The IPC is built from six Species of rescued Slaved from the nasty Aliens - they have rebult their Species by Modified Cloning - and rebuilt their Cultures. They are expanding and starting to Colonies new Systems.

There was a Civil War – and some 18 Billion Atticans on Argos, and 4 Billion Sol Colonists on Mars were killed – Mars and Argos are both being Recovered / Rehabilitated, which is also one of our specialities now.

The Phoenix Confederation was created at the voluntary truce which ended the Civil War – and we are now a Confederation of self-governing Dominions, represented in the Parliament of The Phoenix Confederation.

We are expanding as rapidly as we can, to achieve Strategic Depth, and Arming as fast as we can to both Defence and Offence, against any threat.

Attica has now expanded from 2 Billion Surviivors to 6.5 Billion ( includng Colonies ).

Major Industries: Mining, Weapons, Shipbuilding, Orbital Stations, Moon / Asteroid Bases, Hydroponics, Nano-Bots.

Species motto: Onwards and Upwards

General Species disposition: Argumentative amongst ourselves, Friendly towards other Species, Cooperative

Achievements: Massive Expansion in just 7 years.

Hey Kris, sorry about the lack of reply to this, but it's Nelle's RP, and I think he's busy for the next few days. I'm sure he'll approve though, it all looks good to me!

For the record though, usually we post the applications and species/character information in the OOC forum, as a post in the RP OOC topic. Sorry that it's a little hard to navigate at the moment, it's something we're working on.

I did not have the foggiest idea where to Post it - and could not even seem to find the Game.

I am now seeing if I can join Dusty's New RP Game as well

I am doing G.M. of a massive S.F. Game on another Site - where I am also a Player. 16 Players now.
That is where all of the stuff in my App. came from - that is all happening in the Game I am running.
I am also doing a Merc character in a RP Game ( Firefly era ) on the other site as well - part of a Crew of 8.

You should be able to join in the political RP once we settle on a rules system. Which i'm going to do tonight actually.
