Re: Realm Walkers
Frelak pouts in a preposterously melodramatic fashion. "You never let me have any fun... But yeah, let's pack up some drilling equipment and get on down there. I'll finally have enough spare to build my anti-gravity boots." His pout turns to a grin of sheer delight, the idea of being able to build those meant being able to have all kinds of fun. His tail wags back and forth furiously as he stands up, looking over the scans. "okay, let's see, We'll need this, this, that, a few of these..." he idly mutters as he compiles a list of things they'll need to mine.
"Goliath, Italy, make any preparations you need, I'm gonna go back and get appropriately dressed for an excursion to the surface." After that, he speeds on out of the room, hyper even without caffeine, back to his quarters.

"Pistol, check. Rifle, check. Right, I'm good to go" Turin grunted. After that though, he stood awkward and unsure in the middle of the room as everyone else bustled into life around him. Still being relatively new to the ship, he wasn't this quick to respond to routine and command, and hoped he remembered how to get to the cargo bay, although he did have a fairly good idea of the ships layout by now.
He looked over to Jax, realising that he was going to be grouped with him all day. He scratched his chin-sack thoughtfully.
"I never did get that drink..."
Following Jax from as far back as he could, he started to think that he was going to need it.

Re: Realm Walkers
"Avanti, to the unknown!" Chimed Ete, a single finger raised high into the air. Out the door he hurried. Down the corridors he strode. "Gloves... here." He said looking at his hands. "Side arm..." Ete stopped in the middle of the corridor, checking his sides, spinning around. "Where is my weapon!?" he exclaimed, visibly agitated. He stopped, however, and smacked his head to a sudden realization. "Ha, that's right I don't have one..." he continued to make his way to the core room.
Once there, he stared at the ship's power core. "We found a planet with islands!" Cheerily Ete said. "Well, it isn't my fault you have to stay here on the ship." he continued after a short pause while he listened to the hum of the power core. "Well, you are kind of big, so moving you..." he frowned after another pause. "No, I didn't call you fat..." Another pause, just listening to the hum of the power core. Ete scowled at the device before continuing to speak. "Well, I'm going to WALK out of here AND out of the ship!" stated the Belui. A look of surprise and concern swept across his face. "No no! Don't do that! If you shut down the ship will crash, and if we all survive the Captain will be furious and yell at Frelak to fix it, and Frelak will yell at me because I'm the only other one here!" once again, he paused. "I'm sorry..." Ete continued to stare at the power core and continued to listen to it's hum. "The Captain and the others are probably waiting for me. Look, I'll tell you all about the planet when we return." He paused again, smiled and nodded before turning to leave for the cargo bay.
Ete finally reached the cargo bay with only seconds to spare. "Clarity and sanity..." he said and laughed to himself briefly. "I'll find him later." He was, for all intents and purposes ready, and if his mind was clear, he would probably be concerned that there's a chance he kept the others waiting. But his mind wasn't thinking clearly, so he smiled and stared at the various spots on the walls.

Re: Realm Walkers
"Awww...I dont get to sunbathe?!" she crossed her arms and grumbled something about a 'rip-off artist' as the captain left the bridge. her ears perked back up as the captain vanished without another word, her grumbling left unheard and she shrugged it off like a child who's tantrum had failed to coerce a parent "Guess we're working together then mister Goalith" she grinned and tapped a fiber laced finger to his 'head', a 'ping' passing between them as she walked by and off the bridge, following the small fennec to the cargo bay
in the hallway the captain had just entered, a pair of large black eyes sat watching her, the creature slipped silently from the shadows, slinking up beside the captain to match her stride "Good morning captain" the creatures voice seemed to simply emenate from all around them, he said nothing about her lack of clothes "Have you seen Italy around?" his black eyes didnt seem to ever move, even as he scanned the room, his metallic ears adjusted, and focused on some distant noise "Ah, there she is...Apologies Captain, but if you'll excuse me" he broke pace with her, and turned to the sound of the faint music he could hear, following it at a simple trot, as if he'd all the time in the world to get there.
Italy made a stop in her quarters, grabbing her gear, and her guns. her beloved verpine strapped across her back, and a shard pistol at her hip. she pulled out the small device she'd played with earlier, and slid a clawed finger across the screen, and suddenly the music coming from her headphones changed from world rocking guitar rifts, to a hard rock genre Orion Recins favored before battle, a long standing tradition, even from the ancient days. she started bobbing her head to the music, and before long was playing the air drums with a pair of digital control rods as she rocked out on any surface unfortunate enough to get in the way. she wandered out into the hall, and down the corridors, still jamming away, coming to the drum solo just before the doors to the cargo bay. she finished, adn jabbed the door controls with one of the control rods, spun them both in hand as the doors opened, and stuck them in her hoodie's hood for effect. "Woo! hell yeah! Lets do this thing!" another song of some sort began, but it lacked the thrill of the first and she took up a spot on one of the shipping containers to wait till they left, kicking her feet off the container she sat on, humming along to the song emenating from her headphones
Slipping in as silent as ever, was Fang, the small vents along his back glowing with their internal powersource as he allowed himself to be seen. he slunk in and around her feet, crouched, and lept to join the fox on the container, laying down behind the girl and instinctively curling his tail around onto her lap. she leaned back against him, still tapping her foot on the container as Fang laid his head on his paws, ready to wait as long as needed.

Re: Realm Walkers
Jax took his rifle off Maya, who was also in the cargo bay, but staying aboard the ship.
He opened the canopy of the Skid assigned to Turin and himself, and clipped the weapon to the side of the cabin.
"You feel like Driving, Turin?" Jax called over his shoulder. He could drive the little hovercraft well enough (he'd piloted similar machines fairly often as part of the Brelish military).

"No. I'd rather have my hands free" Turin replied humourlessly. He took a seat directly behind the pilot, and laid his rifle on his lap. He cast an eye on Maya, then asked loudly, though to no one in particular;
"Why isn't she coming with us? Is she going to be left on the ship on her own? Is that wise?"

Re: Realm Walkers
Goliath snapped a crisp salute as the Captain dismissed them. Frelak's words were met with a nod, and the soft tap to his head from Italy earned her a vacant stare as she left. Shrugging, the AI wrote it off as on organic thing and made his way immediately to the armory. It took a bit of scrounging for the AI to find his equipment, due to the fact that someone had apparently knocked the weapons down and put them back wherever they would fit, a mistake that Goliath took the time to rectify before outfitting himself.
Out of paranoia, Goliath looked around to make sure he was alone before opening his chest to reveal the most heavily shielded part of himself: the cavity that housed his core. Over the years, the AI had found that it made an ideal place to hide things for the simple fact that his core was smaller than most and no one really expected an AI with things hidden inside itself. Packing in several emergency bits for his organic teammates: rope, first aid kit, emergency rations and a few vials of special medications, Goliath sealed himself up after making sure the supplies wouldn't wiggle against anything vital.
A grenade belt found its way around the AI's waist and a backpack for carrying specimens the smart one wanted to bring back wet onto his back near his repeater. Another belt containing enough ammo for a small assault got strapped across his chest and Goliath completed the set with a set of wrist mounted grappling hooks. Thoroughly satisfied, Goliath made his way to the cargo bay, finding Italy and a strange robot there.
Goliath didn't know this particular construct and immediately sent a burst message in binary requesting the unit's verification code, owner, builder, and model.

"I'd bring her with us but there's only two seats," Jax pointed out, climbing down into the driver's seat, "Besides, someone needs to stay with the ship. And I think she's working on something; she's been really secretive about it, though."

Re: Realm Walkers
The captain walked into the cargo bay with some clothes on granted it wasn’t much. From what she figured it was the bare minimum that she was going to get away with on the surface of the world. She was wearing a backless white leather halter top due to her wings more than any bane of clothes. And a pair of red short shorts made of some biological material that looked more like an extension of her flesh than a piece of clothing. She walked over to the Skid. “First off, you’re in my seat…I drive…always…no exceptions. Understood?” She looked at him with a look that told him to move….now.
“Second…” She turn to Maya…”If something is broken on this ship, and she is angry I will feed you to this ship. Trust me, I know how…it’s not pretty…” Not that this is anything unusual that she said that, anyone who was left to watch the ship got the same “message.” “Right now almost everyone is here…Where is Sparky…” She looked to see Ete coming into the bay. “Ah good you’re here… Hop in…” She said taking her seat in the drivers spot once Jax moved.

Re: Realm Walkers
The creature blinked, lifted it's head, looking around as if someone had called it's name, and looked at Goliath, it's head cocked slightly to the side, almost as if it didn't understand, then it spoke "Speak boy! do you not have a vocal synthisizer?" the creature blinked again "If you wish to know who I am, all you need is to ask!" His tail flicked around as he watched the construct a moment, a curious look, or what could pass as one for a snythoid, passed across his face "My designation, is Fang. a name given by my previous owner for the purpose of instilling fear in those I hunted. I am a Species seven Hunter, made by a...less than known...division of Orion Industries" the creature seemed to twitch as a security protocol took over for a moment "...no one 'owns' me" the creature spoke of itself as fully aware "Italy is my...Traveling companion, nothing more."
"Ey," Italy sat up as the captain came into the cargo bay, tapping the back of her hand against the synthoids shoulder plate "Capn's here" she hopped down off the container and darted after the captain, the synthoid landing on the floor behind her without a sound and following silently at her heels as Italy darted to the second Skid and clambered up into the cockpit with a little assistance from the synthoid, using his head as a step, to which he helped, entirely willingly, then added "There is a back hatch Italy"
"I know, but climbing through a side window, just makes life so much more interesting!" she laughed adn teh synthoid seemed to almost shrug and started off toward the rear Hatch, looking over his shoulder at the other synthetic "will you be joining us then, Goliath?"
"Birds all ready to go Cap'n! awaiting you're word to proceed! oh! and the little Fennec too! he was getting his gear for the study back at his quarters, once he gets here, we'll be all set to go!" already she had the thrusters on their warming cycle, anticipating the run already

Re: Realm Walkers
Goliath stood there for a moment, feeling sheepish at having Fang snap at him like that, "A-affirmative, this unit is assigned to the group with crew member Italy and crew member Frelak. This unit was unaware of your presence on this ship until just now and incorrectly assumed that we would not share a common language outside binary."
The AI followed Fang up into the back of the ship, quickly taking a seat.

Jax sighed and changed seats, squeezing his frame in behind Turin's seat.
"Understood, captain. Just don't go too fast; my wings are squashed enough as it is!"

Re: Realm Walkers
Frelak moves into the launch bay. Pressing some buttons on a wall terminal, a couple of robot forklifts begin to load up the mining equipment into the skid. As he watches them work, he drinks from a sugar free fruit-juice pouch, muttering under his breath. "Lousy Sofia won't let me have any sugar just cuz I took apart the entire reactor manifold last time..." He takes another sip and locks down the equipment. "Not like I could have actually built a time machine in that universe..."
Once he's satisfied that the equipment is on board and secure, he hops on into his seat. "And why won't she let me drive? Its not like these things are irreparable, they're very modular in design..."

Re: Realm Walkers
Ete gave a quick nod to the Captain and waltzed over to the vehicle. Getting into was no real trouble, but getting situated was another story. At a little over seven feet tall, combined with his large reptilian tail, he was a bit of a seat hog. However, he tried to compact himself as much as possible to allow the others enough room.
A quick glance in his direction would reveal an obvious look of discomfort.
