The March of the Survivors (RP Plot idea)
So far needs fleshing out but basic premise is that the planet of Xinming has been invaded by the Louku who now own one of the two continents on the world's surface. There is a single land bridge between the two, where the Xinming planetary defense forces struggle to hold the Louku from entering the other continent.
The occupied continent features foothils and temperate zones near the landbridge, but mostly desert region. And it is here that the RP takes place.
A group of four players will lead a group of liberated prisoners from one end of the desert all the way to the landbridge itself. The escapees get away with what ever food supplies, water supplies and fuel as they could scrape in their get away. They are being chased by the Louku forces they escaped from, and may encounter roving Louku groups on the way... as well as PDF survivors.
Fortunately the escapees have a map detailing PDF stockpile caches. Their journey to the land bridge will mean moving from stockpile to stockpile.... but some may have been looted already, some may have enemies, and some are as they are. It's up to the group how they get to the end.
It will not be easy. I will host this RP more than once, as I suspect not every group of players will make it. A balanced group of leaders have the best chance.
