    Default Steve Jobs 1955-2011

    I'd like to say a fond farewell to Steve Jobs. Whether you like him or not, he has influenced the technology industry in substantial ways. From the Apple II to the iPhone, Steve Jobs had a definite and calculated vision of what would and wouldn't work. I for one will miss his keynotes, among other things.

    I was talking about it with someone over on FA yesterday and the day before, and mentioned the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley. Almost as if one queue, it played back to back on TNT yesterday.

    I remember that movie. It really didn't portray Steve in a very positive light. Still, it was a decent movie on its own.
