Hello out there everyone. I'm Murmur, a long time lurker sitting on the edge of the fur community, watching from the edge with a set of binoculars and a box of donuts. Figured I finally needed a niche to call my home, and this place looks like the one. It struck a chord since I'm an avid sci-fi fan of numerous sub-types. I am, however, a fur completely bereft of artistic talent of any recognizable sort. I've not had much luck in the past with integrating into the fur community however. My last attempt had me swept up in someone's drama-storm which had me clueless on what was going on. Here's hoping this plunge works out better.

Hey there Murmur. Nice to see a new face come on board. I'm hoping that you'll like it here, we've got a small group of folks that participate regularly, but hopefully that will grow in time. We also have cookies, so if you run out of donuts you can always come down and have a few.

Well, here's hoping I can become a part of that small cadre, and I always have like cookies. I'll likely browse though a few RPs first and look around a bit before I settle into a topic or two. It might take me a few days due to work though.

We certainly try to be as accommodating as possible, and I'm pleased to say that we have significantly less drama here than most of the furry community, so you shouldn't have a repeat of those previous bad experiences.

Yes, actually one of the reasons I decided on this place was the rules and guidelines in place. I already read that page and all the other rules, guidelines, and what have you I could find before I registered. I found that page clear and concise. I like it just fine. I'll keep poking my nose around the rps for a bit still, but I'll likely join or start a rp soon.
