Quick-reply and editing problem

There seems to be a problem with the Quick-Reply and editing software; when I posted my latest response to Zoids: Awakening, a large section of text was omitted, and none of the paragraph breaks I put in were included either.

When I tried to fix this, the Edit screen glitched; the text box never appeared. Also, I noticed that the font and emote buttons for both the quick reply and editing boxes were missing.

For additional details, I am using Mozzilla Firefox, with the latest version of Flash, and my computer is about... five or six years old now.

I'm not quite sure what actually happened, but my guess is a bit of packet loss when you pasted text in. Paragraph breaks should have been retained, but it might be that the quick reply box is glitched somehow. I'm going to investigate it further. In the meantime, try using the advanced editor and see if that works any better?

Don't worry too much; I think it might have been on this end. It appears to have either fixed itself or been fixed already.

In a possibly similar complaint (although I've never had it nearly as bad as that), I'm often finding that pasting text from an existing message into either of the post boxes will only give me the first line (it's not only copying the first line, since my solution so far has been to paste the whole thing into Notepad or Word, copy it all again, and paste that, which usually works.)
I've so far only noticed this on Chrome, since I don't often come on here on Firefox.
