    (Zoids RP because i'm sorry to say Arratra but your RP is dead, but i'm not done with the setting just yet.)

    The world of ZI: ZAE 2330

    Its been well over two centuries sense the fall of the Death Saurer to hands of Van Flyhieght and the guardian force, but even over that short span the memories of people are short and the battles of centuries past have already faded into the annals of myth and legend.

    This, is a new era of Zoid technology and expansion! Faster lighter Zoids are being produced not only for war but also for sport. With the start of the public sports battles, much the tension of seeing Zoids has been erased, and the public desensitized. This has also called for rapid urban expansion across the world of Zi, where before only New Helic City was the only place with sky scrapers new cities have sprung up around hot Zoid battle zones, places like New Madrid, Nyx, Vriska, and other cities are now appearing everywhere across the land masses of Zi. This is your world, what will you do!

    Factions!

    Backdraft:

    Little is known about the Backdraft except they are in opposition to the Zoid Battle Commission and seek to destroy them whenever they get the chance. Overseen by a committee of seven mysterious members and chaired by "The Count" they illegally interrupt matches and challenge a team to an unauthorised battle. The challenged team has little choice but accepting the challenge with promises of an enormous amount of prize money if you win. But if you lose, they will take all of your Zoids and leave you with nothing.

    Guardian force:

    The Guardian Force was created as part of the peace process between the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire, and is made up of elite, specially trained soldiers from the militaries of both nations. Led by Colonel Sparrow of the Republic, the mission of the Guardian Force is to prevent all future wars. Members of the Guardian Force seek out dissidents, terrorists, and volatile groups, and contain them before they can do any damage.

    Zoids Battle commission:

    The Zoids battle commission is the overseeing body of the Zoids battles, and the official oraginizer of these battles. (Yeah not much to say here) (if your a non back draft sports pilot your here)

    Helic republic:

    The Helic Republic was formed by Helic Muroa. Originally the leader of the Wind Tribe and its allies, he grew tired of the death and destruction brought about by the tribal wars on Nyx, especially in the clashed between him and his main rivalGuylos, leader of the Earth Tribe and associated groups. Desperate for a solution, he traveled to Nyx, and ended up leading the native pilots and their Zoids back onto his own people and Guylos' alike. His gambit worked: with an outside enemy to defeat, the various groups came together, and peace appeared to come to the land.

    This was the birth of the Republic itself: Helic laid out a democratic system with assemblies and council alike, attempting to treat the various tribes equally. (Being here would put you in the military)

    Distinctive markers: White blocks and stripe shapes adorn the black face plate creating a pattern much like a stylized urban camo pattern.

    Zoid: [my own creation] A wolf dragon hybrid.
    Overall appearance: A wolf body with back slanted horns instead of ears and an entry hatch in the roof of its mouth instead of the top of his head. The tongue has limited motion, able to move like that of a loading ramp. Also has saber teeth and the tail is styled after an alligator. Paint style is black primary, white secondary. Pink is the color of supportive details such as eyes, joints, claws, and other small or lit details.


    Natural Equipment:
    Natural weapons include claws, teeth, and club like tail.
    Top speed leaves plenty to desire compared to others in its class but highly acute response time, well built joints, and a light armor body type allow for supreme maneuverability.
    A shield the conforms to his body and has power that depends on what other functions are being performed at the time.

    Additions and upgrades [To be added in story]:
    Damaged mounts suggest it once had wings, and could be fitted with new ones.
    Tail has room for a light riffle to be installed into it.
    Mounts on back also make it compatible with light to medium back mounted weapons.
    System is compatible with recon and other advanced tactical installations.
    Contains schematics for a ball turret to be placed on chest or back.
    Mounts on both sides of the head suggest room for duel Vulcan cannons or javelins.

    Cockpit:
    The inside of the pilot chamber has the same color scheme as the body [Though Imagine how an Alien-ware lap top mite handle such a color scheme.] but is pretty standard outwardly. The Zoid would suggest to his desired pilot that padding be added to the seat and that better climate control be installed. The zoid is able to modify the cockpit on it's own to interact with the pilot on a more personable level but the full extent of that ability is yet to be explored.

    Personality: Overly possessive and protective of it's pilot, the Zoid believes a creature so small is not capable of keeping it's self safe. Pride is folly but confidants is necessary along with a modest approach that can cause others to underestimate him. Rather than show off all he is capable of, the Zoid stays under his top speed and saves advanced maneuvers for when they are needed when he can be seen. Alone and unseen he would keep himself moving and practicing, pushing himself. At rest, he enjoys dark hidden places.

    Role: Ambush, flanking, hit and run, Recon

    History:
    Created by a private compony and later bought by the Guylos Empire, the hybrid body was built and a wolf core was trans planted into it; being deemed the most compatible. The beast had been given time to grow into it's new and strange body and had seen action in past wars. His pilot was lost during the last conflict he served in and damages sustained resulted in him being left behind when the faction responsible for him relocated. After limping off to recover, the Zoid was not seen or heard of again. He could have made his own den, or returned to one abandoned by the Empire.

    [After finalizing this character I did a little looking around to refresh myself and to stimulate my creative thought process. Found a few zoids that I will use to help myself visualize my character and will use as perspective influences for future modifications. These notes are mostly for my personal notes than anything else and may be used should I create any zoids in the future.

    Name: Leah 'Axel' Genesis
    Age: 27 (Physically and mentally in her mid 20's)

    Race: Anthro(Manned Wolf, with a touch of Fennec)
    Affiliation: Guardian Force
    Distinctive Markers: Dark Charcoal fur across her entire body, Vibrant neon green Tail tip, eyes, long hair, and claws. Two triangle shapes set in the middle of her forehead are also a similar neon Green.


    Appearance: 5'9", Moderately well built frame of a skilled mechanic used to working with her hand on her equipment. Her fur is a rich charcoal across her entire body (Though some might claim she has a white patch hidden away beneath her usual clothing) with her tail and claw tips the same Vibrent neon green as her long, just past shoulder length, hair and startling green eyes that almost seem to glow faintly with an internal light. Her ears are longer than that of a normal Manned wolf, leading others to believe there's some fennec hidden away in her genome. When not seen wearing mechanics coveralls, or a pilots suit, she's usually seen in a pair of loose, dark colored jeans, and button up top with the sleeves rolled and the front left open, showing whatever tee shirt she happens to be wearing at the time. Ocassionally, she's caught with a pair of glasses with her nose buried in a book or manual.


    Zoid Designation: Fanged Rose


    Personality: While kind at heart, she has a 'get the job done' attitude when it comes to her work, and anybody that gets in the way of that, has a tendency to get on her 'list'. She is naturally curious, and by trade, a master mechanic, one lending to the other on ocassion. She has a tendency to bury her nose in a book or manual when she gets the chance for some peace away from the chaos of the constant maintence often required of Zoid mechanics. Her natural knack of 'communicating' with the zoids has proved to be an invaluable asset in her work on more than a few ocassions, even as it unnerves her on ocassion, she finds it somewhat comforting for reasons she doesn't quite understand.

    Role: Pilot, General Maintainer, and Master Mechanic. she can fix, maintain, or pilot any zoid that allows.


    Zoid: Stands a mere 33' foot at the shoulder, medium weight plating across most of the body in standard set up, plates are a rich gloss black and placed in critical points along the zoids frame. a set of small, mounted canons are set into the armor along the sides of the facial plating, allowing for visual based aiming, close quarters, and high precision attacks. a 'whip cannon' is mounted at the end of the long tail allowing for quick fire and defensive attacks when cornered or pinned. a set of light Plasma Lances are mounted over the hips for medium and ranged attacks. Scans of the Fanged Rose Unit, and behavioral comments, have shown a 'black box' at the heart of the beast, indicating an Ultimate X system within the unit. Teeth are made from the hard Metal Zi, and has Magnesser ports spaced all across the units body, for reduced weight and added agility.


    -Changing Armor system(Breaker/Standard/Panzer)


    --Breaker Unit - Upon the switch to the Breaker unit, all armor plating is swapped out for lighter, Magnesser equipped plating, further reducing the weight of the unit in exchange for lowered defense. making up for this drop in defense, is a glossy sheen of energy shielding, active only when the Magnesser systems are not due to power requirements, though the switch between power couplings is near instantaneous, it still requires the switch. armor color becomes a pearly white with this change, and rear mounted plasma lances are entirely removed, leaving only the cheek mounted, and tail canons as well as the Metal Zi fangs, the only means of offensive attacks. The Breaker unit is equipped with a Dual turbin Buster pack to increase speed in order to make up for lack of weaponry.


    --Panzer Unit - with the change to this unit armor, weight no longer becomes an issue, and standard or breaker plating is changed out for the heaviest of the systems, the Magnesser system built into the unit itself, working only to maintain a neutral weight. rear mounted plasma lances are removed and replaced for a heavier design, using four heavier grade lance coils built from a Metal Zi alloy. an additional power unit is installed along the spinal braces for the additional power requirements of the Heavy Lances. both tail, and facial canons are also upgraded for heavier damage.

    Age: 5 (Physically and mentally in her late teens, early 20's)

    Race: Anthro (Fennec Fox)

    Distinctive markers: Stark, Virbrent Red hair, and a pair of small blue dots hidden behind her long bangs set just apart from the middle of her forehead


    Appearance: Very short, standing just an inch above four foot, she has long golden ears, and golden fur over most of her body, her chest and stomach are a soft creamy white while the tips of her ears, tail, full fingers and feet (Up about six inches along her shins) are a rich, almost dark chocolate color. Her ears are tall and her hair is short but nearly entirely hides her face with her long, full bangs. She claims her eyes are a vibrent violet in color, but few, if any, have actually seen them behind the thick red bangs. the back is cut much shorter and stays in place naturally maxing out at 2-3 inches. she has a pair of long strands reaching from just in front of her ears, down to a few inches down her chest tied off with small bead to give it a small 'foof' on the end. Her tail is nearly as big as she is, and doubly as fluffy, going from gold, to nearly black tipped. She is always seen wearing black cargo jeans over top a pair of well beaten combat boots. she nearly always has on a zip up hoodie with a graffitti skull across the back, the fabric either a deep red, or a black with the skull being white, what she wears beneath nearly always varies by the day, though it's fairly infrequent that the hoodie is left unzipped more than a few inches. around her neck are nearly always a pair of studio grade headphones, plugged into a device always hooked into her belt. she will sometimes have a pair of fingerless gloves over her paws. in her left ear are two silver studs, no more than a quarter inch diameter each.


    Personality: Rebelious and brilliant all rolled into one compact package, her personality varies by events, but seems to remain somewhat juvenile at the core. her ideas and tactics always seem to reflect her outlook on the current events, and her status as merc, and rather enjoying it, seems to have most of her plans working perfectly and exactly to her benefit. she tends to remain solitary when she can, keeping away from others if for no other reason than to be by herself.

    (I've redone that post that ruined it, but I'm not expecting much. *sigh* So I'm making a character here)

    Name: Marxon Drakenguard

    Sex: Male

    Species: Anthro dragon (Is this OK, Nelle? If not, he can be human)

    Age: 19

    Physical appearance: Marxon is raven-scaled, with vibrant, emerald-green eyes, and a squarish snout. His hair is vivid (almost violently) blue, while his short, somewhat curved horns are ebony. His build is lean and fit; well-defined, but sleek muscles lay beneath his raven-coloured skin, without any excess fat to soften his appearance. His neck is unusually long, which forced him to modify the cockpits of both his Zoids (both his old, destroyed Command Wolf and his current one), to avoid whiplash during sudden stops. His hair is also always a mess; he can never control it. A lock of it always falls between his eyes.

    Distinctive markers: Aside from his unusual hair colour, Marxon has a pair of slash-like pale-blue marks on each cheek (akin to what Omega Leonidas from Bakugan Battle Brawlers (the game) has as Haos). He also always wears a pendent shaped somewhat like a dragon's tail, something given to him by his mother years ago.

    Outfit: When out of the cockpit, or if given insufficient time to get changed, Marxon's outfit varies, but he will almost always wear black steel-capped boots on his feet. He will often wear a black leather trench coat (reaching his ankles) that he wears open at the front but belted around his waist (the belt carries a cross-draw holster for his sidearm). If worn closed, it would likely be a tad on the tight side. With this jacket, he usually wears a white shirt, and blue jeans. His other primary outfit is a short-sleeved pale blue button-up T-shirt over a black long-sleeve with grey trim, and black pants with twin red stripes down the legs, with a strip of white-grey piping on one side of each stripe, zip-up pockets at the start of these stripes, and a cross-draw holster. (I actually own the real deal, but it's got a Slazenger logo, which I'm not putting in here)

    History: Marxon was born in Mount Iselina's Mist Colony, where he spent most of his childhood. It was here that he first learned to pilot a Zoid; a Gustav that belonged to his father for bringing in the crops to market, to be exact. Having watched his father piloting the obliging Zoid for years, Marxon was quick to pick up the tricks (what few there are) to piloting a Gustav.

    At age twelve, Marxon volunteered to train to protect the caravans that carried goods into and out of the Mist Colony. He was given lessons in two types of Zoid; the ground-based Command Wolves, and the colony's lone (rather beat-up) Redler. It took him almost two years to master both well, at which point his father sent him with his mother (a caravaner only in the strictest sense; she only went up and down the mountain to the small town nearby), to the nearby town to pick up a component for the colony's electrical generator. Here he saw the Guardian Force for the first time. Remembering tales from his father about them, he immediately decided that he would join when he was old enough.

    When he turned eighteen, four years later, having learned the basics of piloting aquatic Zoids (namely the lone Warshark belonging to the colony), he informed his parents he was leaving to join the Guardian Force. With their blessing, he took a Command Wolf and started travelling, also gaining a lisence to carry a pistol (which he took to doing quickly, given circumstances).

    Although he has yet to actually join the Guardian Force, he's become something of a thorn in the Backdraft's side; although he is a Warrior within the legitimate ring (doing it for the money, in order to survive), the Backdraft has repeatedly attempted to capture his Command Wolf, and later Marxon himself when they realised it wasn't just the Zoid that was skilled.

    This eventually led to the Command Wolf being destroyed and Marxon infiltrating a Backdraft base, where he liberated a stolen prototype Zoid from them; the Drakus, which he nicknamed Draco. The zoid, initially jet black (a Backdraft paint job that neither Zoid nor new pilot really appreciated), was repainted silver and gold to indicate its new alignment.

    The Drakus is more intelligent than normal Zoids, a side-effect of its prototype power source, and will often actively make suggestions or offer other assistance during combat... although it can only make those suggestions via the combat system currently (Marxon has yet to learn to understand what the Drakus actually says).

    Zoid’s Class: Prototype flight-capable Zoid (Specialising in close combat; never requires recharge due to prototype reactor which draws ions from the atmosphere as fuel).

    Load out:

    Initial Zoid load out: 2x Dual-purpose Holographic blade-wings (Act as the units wings and also as laser blades), 4x Strike Laser Claws, 2x tail-mounted laser blades, Laser Bite Fangs, mouth-mounted laser cannon (A beam cannon also capable of firing a continous beam. Mimics the breath weapon of a real dragon, albeit imperfectly), 3D radar (via the spikes on the head). On a side note, this unit has glowing blue panels on it that allow it to draw in ions from the atmosphere and potentially (with upgrades) could become ray-absorbing verneirs

    Later additions: 2x Beam Saber (Front legs),2x leg-mounted ion boosters, 2x back-mounted ion booster (just back from the connector port for the backpack), Combat backpack containing; 2x High Laser Cannon (High-power version of the laser cannon), 2x ion booster, 2x retractable missile rack (type seen on the Sabre in Halo: Reach, and on the Triseed's submarine/spaceship form in Lost Planet 2).

    Pilot load-out: Pilot's G-suit/environment suit (type worn by Kira in Gundam Seed Destiny, with different helmet; provides air should the Drakus' life-support fail during high-altitude flight), Personal sidearm (customised pistol with built-in tactical light/laser sight and flash suppressor), custom-built claw-bladed gauntlets with additional wrist-mounted blades (worn as part of his pilot's suit. They do not hamper his piloting ability), survival kit including; 10 days water rations, 10 days food rations, trench knife, hatchet, tinderbox (well, they work), thermal blanket, ocarina (he enjoys playing this rather exotic instrument).

    okey dokie, my turn. First up, my pilot char--

    Name: Samuel "Quickdraw" Corrington


    Sex: Male


    Species: Husky


    Appearance: Average build with a light muscle layer beneath the standard fluffy fur of huskies, blue in color. Has heterochromia (one eye orange, the other blue). More Siberian Husky build. Stands 5' 9" and weighs roughly 175 lbs


    Age: 18


    History: Samuel was born to a family that inhabited a small town bordering one of the registered battle zones for the Zoid Battle Commission and he, like most others in the town, found the zoid fights entertaining from a young age. However, for Sam, it wasn't as much the sport of the blood bath, but a feeling of kinship towards the zoids. Throughout Sam's years of schooling, he befriended the owner of a nearby zoid parts and ammunition shop and was subject to many of the zoids passing through.


    Samuel actually began a small catalouge of all the zoids he encountered during his trips to town with his father, forsaking most other forms of companionship to study and get to know zoids. On his thirteenth birthday, however, Sam fell victem to an accident involving a zoid in the shop. While the records were never disclosed for security and legal reasons, it is believed that a few of the older, and much more aggressive teens, snuck into the shop and provoked the zoid into attacking.


    After that, Sam began to keep a distance from zoids, though his heart still yearned to know more about them. At the end of his schooling, Sam applied for a job working with zoids, getting a small job as an EMT/recovery unit. He would often get scolded by the engineers as they chased him out of the "zoid ER."


    Sam has countless times applied for a trainee pilot permit, but has yet to be accepted...

    Name: Thunderhead


    Zoid Type: Custom (Prototype Rex-type: model base - Snipe Master)


    Age: 4 (prototype model)


    Gender: Male


    Loadout: 2x wrist mounted beam cannons, 1x nose mounted cannon, 2x strike claw pairs, 1x Prototype 175mm AZ Sniper Rifle*, Camoflauge plating, radar scramblers, precision scope.


    History: In this case, the zoid was built around the gun. In a desperate attempt to maintain the sniper's edge in the ever evolving realm of combat, the 175mm AZ Sniper Rifle was introduced as the first weapon capable of forming hard light shells to be fired on target. However, the size of the weapon quickly unbalanced the usual raptor-class zoids usually outfitted with sniper weaponry.


    Desperate to make it work, Gaurdian Force engineers did the next best thing: they took a larger model and stripped it of all uncessary equipment. Using a medium sized rex type model, the heavy armor plating and heavy weapons were removed and replaced by light camoflauge armor and the new weapon.


    The new zoid, taking the name of Thunderhead, after the first test fire of the rifle sounded like thunder, has been in kept within a safe testing range, awaiting the choosing of a pilot as the engineers continue to tweek the rifle.


    * To be noted, the 175mm AZ Sniper Rifle requires direct solar energy along the various photoreceptic panels along its length to form the hard light round and the recoil requires a full lockdown of the zoid.

    Well I could wake up under ground int eh forgotten place from the rumble of the ground all around, or be the one being cloned just before the event. If it is the first idea, Shade's husky could have gone under ground for shelter and find the zoid then. If it is the later, My zoid makes it out into the streets and the husky is one of the first being he meets that is still alive and and partially awake.

    History: Grew up on the edges of the city all her life, the zoid battles have always been a big part of her life even from when she was a young child. Her parents ran one of the old battlegrounds before the city became as big as it did for zoid battles.

    She always found herself looking up to the zoids and their 'fearless' pilots as she saw them, and convinced herself that she would one day, become a great pilot like those that came through her families arena.

    She learned her basic piloting skills on some of the old zoids that her family had around the statium for work, granted they were more like clidesdales work horse type, it was a starting point for her. She learned on them and worked her way up from there, eventually stepping up to a command wolf when a pilot flat out quit and simply left the beast in the docks for whoever might find it. Her family picked it up as one of their own and eventually convinced it to take a new pilot...but there was a catch, it would only accept one pilot. the mental state of the beast was unstable enough that it wouldn't let more than one run it. The role of pilot, fell to Amilia.

    After her initial struggles with 'taming' the beast, the two actually got to good terms with each other. The zoid became dubbed as 'Sara' for the wild personality it seemed to possess. Eventually the pair entered the amatuer tournaments and found their knack for the fight scene.

    After a few years working the fight scene, more than a simple fight broke out and she had her first run in with the Guardian force when they stepped in and more than simply brought the beast down with zone weapons. Real Pilots. not some arena pilots. She enlisted on her eightteenth birthday and has been working on the task force ever since.

    speculation and suggestions:

    With the two of your pilots having the same last name, you may as well actually say they are brothers, not childhood friends. That or not sharing the last name.
    Over all just seems redundant to me.

    Perhaps you could just work on improving what you already have instead of trying to add more characters? Or do you just want a character that is not infected with what you went out of your way to get infected with? Who said your pilot had to stop and be replaced any way? I do not see any other players with mutant characters replacing theirs and unlike you they did not make posts specifically to get there character infected. Replacing characters so soon makes them feel disposable. I find a character struggling through his hardship to be much more compelling than replacing him. Other wise it looks like giving up and who likes to see that?

    I do not think for a moment that Nelle wanted to kill off your character/make him unplayable.

    I'd like to suggest posting here more often with regular talking. Like asking if it would be ok to make another character, so that if it is not, you did not waste all that time typing when the story mod denies your entry.

    Plus, communication is just a really nice thing to have. Keeps me from getting so lost and confused. If we know what you want, and it is with in reason, we can help you achieve that rather than you trying to shoulder all the coolness on your own. I have been talking with my pilot's player a bit, but I try to add my thoughts here too.

    while I can not speak for the others, I know I would like playing with you even more if you took some of this stuff into consideration.

    Small personal issues with your choice of words:
    -I do not feel that your power source would have any more effect on your zoid's intelligence than an extra battery taped to a computer would.
    -Another thing to consider is that we all want to be special in our own way, but 'more intelligent than normal Zoids' [do not know why I did not notice that sooner] seems like a put down. Since I consider my zoid, and any zoid you and others create, to be "normal zoids". Plenty of ways to be a unique contributing part of the story with out trying to outshine others.
    -A possible fix could be to just say that he has been programed as a tactics unit. Then you have your battle savvy zoid and you don't put any one down.

    basically, what he's trying to do there wolfy, is make a new character as absolutely similar as he possibly can because he can't deal with the fact that he did something stupid and exposed his character because he wanted the cool shiny metal body parts the explosion caused because he choose armor and shielding so that the blast wouldn't effect him.

    frankly...it disgusts me to see players try this trick. as if no one else can see the absolute similarities between the two characters, right down to literally having them same freaking last name. not to mention how he pretty much did everything that Maxon did in his childhood, aside from now being able to repair his own (Hell, he may have been able to do that too, I haven't put the sheets side by side yet) and having a different color scheme to his scales and head-wings...

    seriously...it's like a cut and paste copy of the first character, even the zoid, regardless that he's, as you said, 'Been in longer' which implies that he's already a pilot, which means he's probably got a zoid of his own already...what's he gonna do? just up and leave it all the sudden? they're practically like dogs in this RP, and just as in the show, the pilots and zoid form a bond between them...there's no feasible scenario at this point for the destruction, so that leaves simply desertion of his long time companion...

    my opinion on this character? scrap it. if you're gonna bring a new character in to 'replace' the one that you got killed off, do something new, something unique...not a carbon copy of the original with a different color scheme

    and wolfy's right on those little issues, you use those little things like that to make everything you do and say supposedly 'superior' to everyone elses choices, simply by 'making the zoid more intelligent than normal'. it's very degrading, even if I get you wanted to do it to allow the draco to behave more like a character than a zoid....take a look at wolfy's, that 'additional intelligence' hasn't been required and his feels as much a character as any other, albeit a rather quiet one, but a character none the less.

    Zoids are special or unique in the way they behave or react in situations, or at all for that matter, not because they have the most advanced uber prototype plating and powersource out there...hell, that actually makes them more generic than anything with how over used that 'uniqueness factor' is

    Well this proves that there needs some limits. Arratra you New Character is rejected, while i have no issue with his looks I do with the rest.

    In order for your character to get approved you will to meet the following standards:

    1. Your character can in no way, shape or form be related to your former character with the exception of being the same species.

    2. He cannot have any connection to any military or sports fighting force. Further more, he cannot be part of any civilian law enforcement or combat capable organization.

    3. His Zoid cannot be the same as your former character.

    4. Your characters back story needs to be radically different from your former character and come from a humble beginning.

    5. Your character and your Zoid should not be a cut above anyone or anything else, pretty average across the board.

    These are your limits, work with them. Until these are met, your character cannot be approved.

    History: Kimrith was born in the Wind Colony, a quiet, unassuming child with a talent with mechanical toy kits. As he grew up, his aptitude turned towards Zoids, and their maintenance and repair. It started off with the modified Battleskippers of the colony, at age twelve, and slowly worked up to the Command Wolves by the time he was sixteen. At this point, he started learning to pilot the Wolves, and accompanying the trade caravans to other towns to buy parts and other supplies for their Zoids. When he turned seventeen, he found a stripped-down Houndsoldier that he purchased for a pittance, and patched new plating onto the gaping holes where the ranged weapons should have been.

    Eventually, the Wind Colony held no more opportunities, and the local mechanic recommended that Kimrith seek his fortunes elsewhere. So Kimrith packed up his things, climbed into the Hounsoldier, nicknamed "Lance" after its only true armament, and headed out.

    While a mechanic of his skill should have been in high demand, Kimrith found that there were few willing to hire an eighteen-year-old "Journeyman" mechanic on even a semi-regular basis. He spent almost an entire year searching for a steady job, before hearing of a job opportunity in Vriska.

    Kimrith was on his way to Vriska when he received the distress call, and immediately went to a relief centre to help as best he could.

    As a side note, his specialty in mechanics is general maintenance and repair of Zoids.

    Zoid: Lance

    Zoid’s Class: Military-surplus Houndsoldier (Top speed reduced to 250 KPH, no ranged weapons)

    Load out: Initial Zoid Loadout; 2x Cross Lances, Power Connector port. Plating over missing chest cannons.

    Pilot load-out: Zoid repair tool-kit, hunting rifle, longsword, rad-shielded environment suit (issued temporarily so he could be part of the rescue effort), Survival kit including: 10 days food and water rations, trench knife, hatchet, tinderbox, thermal blanket.

    Outfit: When outside the cockpit, Kimrith almost always wears a trench coat similar to Marxon’s, only blue, with armoured shoulder plates and forearms. Under this is an armoured jacket and pants.

    Kimrith's hair style is similar to Marxon's but his hair is actually a bit darker, accentuated by his sky-blue scales.
    No matter what he is wearing, he always has a pair of goggles around his forehead.
