I would like to take the time to talk about the holiday I greatly enjoy. While I try to be nice and personable all year round, I make the exact same amount of effort over this holiday :p Weather you celebrate the birth of a dead, or not so dead depending on how you look at it, guy, or a jolly non existent guy that's plastered on products sold way too soon before and a little bit after December, I would like to hear what your plans are and what gifts you will be getting this year that you would not regularly receive through out the year.
Much of your tales and mine will not be fully developed until after the even, so I anticipate us all maybe adding to this as time goes on. The gifts I got for my intimidate family were functional ones and I ended up giving them theirs early because they needed them :p Such as a blow dryer and ice melter/scraper. I hope to snag something extra to get under the tree for them soon.
I know I have some gifts coming to me that I will greatly enjoy and regularly use, but I won't bother to mention them until I have my paws on them.
One Item I do have is Skyrim. The preorder was basically a Christmas gift to me and I will stick it's wrapped box under the tree, though I already play it
For those that travel during this time of year, maybe you have some adventures to share?
I think I will be going to my grandparents for lunch one day, and then my sister's for lunch the other. Beyond that, I have no idea what'll happen. I don't think I'll be doing much or receiving anything. That's just how it goes here these days.
To make up for that, here is an awesome 8-bit holiday fireplace.
Small gatherings with family such as lunch can be pleasant. I know I really enjoy getting to do that with my mother. Going to my sisters place is pleasing as well and will likely be the place the family has the big Dinner at. ^ ^
Ugh i'll just be trying to survive. Got furs that want to do a last minute party. Then off to the drunken haze that will be my mom's side of christmas *shudders* and I gotta work the whole time (the benefit of working for a shipping company)
I'm going to be chilling out with family and presents (perhaps, if my selfish side comes out, not in that order). Grandparents are coming round, and we're having a dinner and all of that good stuff.
Tonight I'm going to read Christmas Carol, which always gets me in the mood

Good times ahead! Glad to hear it Slice, hope that all went well. My family will be celebrating on the 26th! I am so excited. I have been getting better at not letting certain family members ruin my mood so, I should have a wonderful time There are a few there I know would go outa there way for me so I made sure to get them something too. I hope they like them.
I spent today with my friend Jyrras and his family for a Christmas dinner. His moms boyfriend sure can cook! I am eager for tomorrow. That is when my family will do their gift exchange and dinner.
i kind of like the idea of a winter solstice (summer in the southern hemisphere) that is owned by no one and everyone, bringing peace, happiness, and creative gratification to everyone. not being about personalities, nor commerce either one at all. pine trees and their smell on a crisp cold day with maybe a bit of snow on the ground. pretty colored lights. an inclusiveness of a little something for everyone. a big and wonderful meal with real friends who share common interests.

Christmas was awesome in that simple family time way. I managed to not get annoyed with the young children. In fact I hardly noticed them. Received some things I am gona use nearly every day. New keyboard and mouse of handsome blacks and glowing blues, a hair iron, and a new x box head set. The one I will use the least is the game Zoids Assault, which is true to most reviews i read, but I am still pleased with having it just to have it.
Spent some time with my sister that i see very little of and was able to get gifts for her and a couple friends in town along with my parents. Their reactions were pleasing. Got them things they would use often too. In fact, I think that was the theme over all aside from he children gifts which were just toys ready to be lost or broken soon after being taken home.
Today I spent with a friend. Walked about 7-8 miles around town for lunch and to spend a gift card I received. Got some cards for a game he has for myself so that he can teach me and give us something more to do together in this small town.
All that was missing was a lover to share a fire side couch with and more friends to have spent the day with getting worn out for said couch. Perhaps in a not so distant future that will be. :3
I had a fantastic Christmas indeed and hope that most if not all of you enjoyed yourselves and hopefully some one else during the past several days. I have, and wont be stopping any time soon with some fun rp'ing here and several other things elsewhere to do.
