Heh, I had a pretty good New Years, although nothing special. Certainly did not wake up with a hangover, mostly due to the fact that if you eat a lot and space drinks out over 6 hours, you struggle to even get tispy. Who knew, eh? So yeah, 3 whiskey/lemonades, 1 1/2 cups of WKD and one tentative sip of straight whiskey/vodka (which my friend drank after I jokingly suggested it. His fault for saying "I'll have whatever") later, I felt absolutely fine.

Rung in the New Year itself with extremely funny but completely real declassified British government videos about what to do in case of a nuclear attack. Fun fact: Essentials for your safe-room include cutlery and plates. 'Comforts' include first aid.

Finally, the elephant in the room: Resolutions! Anyone made any this year? I have two. The first is to actually finish projects once I've started them and not get so distracted. The second is to shoot that damn elephant that's in my room.
