    Yeah, so this is pretty cool. This is a cut from the TRON Legacy soundtrack arranged using five floppy drives. It's quite the achievement, considering the instruments used.

    Yeah, I've seen all sorts of cool things like this. Anything with a stepper motor can be used for this purpose. I once considered building something of my own like that, but I'm a broke college student, so that ain't happening til I get some income.

    It would be pretty cool to see what you might be able to come up with, should you get around to doing it. The nice thing about old technology is that it's very inexpensive. You could probably buy some old drives for less than 10$. At any rate, it certainly is quite a feat to listen to all those drives and figure out what would be best for a particular part.
