Badly Timed Shot - Gift picture
Badly Timed Shot Blackdoggie.jpg
This delightful picture was a free request from BlackDoggie on FA. He held a sort of contest a while ago, where his favourite suggestion would get a free colour image. Mine was, naturally, post-apoc, and to make it a bit more interesting I decided to base it off of those bits of Fallout 3 concept art where all the Paradise Falls slavers are posing for a photo, except in this one one of their guns goes off just as the photo is taken.
Anyhow, this was uploaded this morning and I absolutely love it. Please go send BlackDoggie some SciFiFur luvvins over at the original submission page http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7182786
Oh, and the sign in the background says Alfreton (the closest town to where I live) and has been edited, in true post-apoc fashion, into "Freetown".

Re: Badly Timed Shot - Gift picture
Is our shotgun-wielder a little camera shy is he, Slice?
*click/flash* - BOOM!
Hehe, fun stuff. I also like the way the shotgun is off-angle from the shot. The artist captured the recoil perfectly. Although, I do believe there could have been a little blur motion under the barrel, exposure time and whatnot, but this is still quite the nice depiction.
And yep, you sure love your post-apocalyptic. Nice touch on the red-paint editing, too. The artist did quite the nice job for you.
Oh, and instead of us going over there, why not invite him to come here? Get some sci-fi loving from us sci-fi furs right in person!

Oh, I did, and he did like it, but has a lot on his plate at the moment (I know it sounds like a flimsy excuse, but he really does. This picture has been his main art project for some months now, with him just doing bits when he found the time). I think he's considering joining when he has more time, I'll mention us again around summer when he breaks up from Uni XP
And Daryn, it sounds like you might be surprised by the secondary fursona that I'm currently working on: a nervous little rabbit, who I feel, when combined with my current Doberman, present a more rounded picture of my real-life self ^^
