Introduction

Hi,

I'm new here, though I have been eyeing this forum since... umm... years now, of course not continously.
I am Niohoggr, age 25 and to put it short and simple, I am a fellow sci-fi and furry/anthro art enjoyer. I am also a writer wannabe, working on several things at once - which is good - but rarely finishing anything - which is really, really bad.
I am most fond of franchises like Warhammer 40k, Starcraft, Stargate, Star-Trek - and of course some fantasy too, amongst them Eragon (despite it's obvious flaws, I still like it, or the inner child does), LotR (duh... lol), and something that is "native" to my country: Miracle Adeptia Guns Urrus Sorrate (that is actually in a made-up language of the franchise) or M.A.G.U.S. (A fantasy pen and paper rpg which leads by far in my country in sales and in popularity, the acronym stands for The Chronicles of Adventurers).
I do think passionately about pen and paper rpgs, up to the point where I decided to make one myself. It's still very much in the making but it is now playable if you have one Niohoggr to be a GM. The world, the rules and the necessary information are very much for mainly one person (me) to write down, especially since I am still in edcuation and working in the meantime. I am however proud to say that even if slow we're making progress and are on to something.

Anyhow, I kinda went out on a tangent there. About me well... I like all things sci-fi, movies and books included, not to mention video games. As for other media, like music, I kinda lean towards something more rough. For example, I like some genres of rock (gothic[Nightwish with Tarja, Within Temptation], alternative[Evanescence], some metal and "normal" rock), but I also like things like whatever The Glitch Mob does or even Alif Tree's Spaced album (Anapoda is still awesome). Aaand I also like movie scores (Pandorum OST FTW!).

I guess that should be enough rambling about me, I shall continue to monitor this forum and I will consider posting when I am asked or I have something to say. Right now... I'm hungry. See you all!

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I'm sure you're going to find quite a few people who share some of those interests. I for one am a bit of a music nerd and listen to all sorts of things. If you have questions about how the forums work, you could ask me, or SliceOfDog, or check out the link in my signature.

I hope you do decide to start posting here, but if not, I hope that at least you have fun reading what we've got.

Hello there Niohoggr! I believe you're our first member from Hungary, so I'm pretty pleased about that :p

I'm not sure if this had anything to do with your decision to change from watcher to member, but we've recently added a Pen and Paper RPG section to the forum, so please feel free to start posting in there. If you'd like to explain the basics of your system and see who might be interested that might be a good start, and of course you can discuss things like Warhammer and this M.A.G.U.S.

Sounds exactly like me! I believe at the moment I have no less than 25 projects on the go. Please feel free to share anything you have written, and I'll be happy to give feedback, as I'm sure some of our members will be.
