Suru’Kai looked like he was going to say something when his empty suit behind him gave a small melodious beep. He looked around in surprise, caught off guard by the alarm and his suit moving to a few meters behind the team by itself: a transport protocol that occurs when a critical alarm is tripped in the suit moving the suit closer to him so that he could check the alarm when he was absent in case he missed the alarm.
“What the?”
Without saying another word, he hurried over and jumped back inside, activating the controls and holographic display but not closing the suit, so he could still be seen.
“That can’t be right…” Suru’Kai muttered with a concerned look in his eye as the holograms before him displayed what looked like his flying drone with a flashing piece of red text above it that looked like it said:
<HOVER DRONE CONTROL CONNECTION LOST>
Meanwhile another red alarm appeared just below it that read:
<TRACE RADIATION DETECTED: TRIMAXILINE>
“Oh this is just going from bad to worse…” Suru’Kai growled to himself.

Character Sheet. Fairly basic for right now but I'll strive for a better character profile.

Name: Gregory (Gregor) Reikovich

Age: 23


Former Occupation/Job: Starisiny (1st Lieutenant), Russian Space Forces

Description: This man stands at six feet, with pale skin and dark brown, clipped hair. He is broad-shouldered, and muscular, though not overly so, and his face is young and eager, ever watchful of things around him.

History: Born to Romanian and Russian parents, Gregor was from an early age fascinated with space, science fiction, and, most of all, the Russian Cosmonaut. He drove himself to incredible lengths to enter this supposed elite force of Russia’s military, as an officer no less, and at 21 he was commissioned. Actual service, however, was short-lived, as by that time construction of Man’s escape ship had already begun. He was doubly overjoyed to be selected as one of Russia’s officer’s onboard said ship.

Personality: Gregor is fairly intelligent, but not anywhere near genius or semi-genius level. He is extremely focused, and when pressing a subject he can tune out everything else. He is extremely learned in all matters of space theory, science fiction, astronomy, and astronautical matters, theoretical and practical, in addition to basic infantry training and small-group tactics.

However, outside his chosen fields of study, Gregor is fairly conservative and unimaginative, more often than not going “by the book”. He is somewhat unskilled at dealing with people, and usually stays quiet in social interactions; except, of course, when dealing with science fiction and reality.

Upon hearing the warning of a critical systems failure, Michael grabbed his supplies and rushed to the service elevator. Again, he attempted to contact one of the others who had already been awoken. "This is Michael, I honestly hope we're prepared for this." When no response came once again he screamed through the radio. "Hello?!? This is a little more serious than a communications error! Why the hell is everyone under radio silence all of the sudden?" Cursing to himself, he continued his dash towards the bridge to help oversee the emergency thawing of the other passengers and their evacuation.

((Right, Yorrick. Now isn't the best time to join really. Maybe later once we get the rest of the ship awake but currently all these human player mid-joiners are making difficult as we have an established group thats actually doing something and some other players who either haven't been posted as in a long time or are stuck since they're isolated from everyone else. I hope you understand.))

"Well. I think the gods have decided are next course of action. You need tritium and we need to cut through the interference to our ship. So how do we do that?" Ramas asked. The rest of the group looked around uneasily as emergency klaxons contiued to sound. "Well we can leave that up to you engineer types. I assume that with the sudden wake-up your people are going to need medical attention, I'm not sure how much of a use we can be but I'm a Xeno-Biologist with some first-aid training and Ferros here is a real doctor. We can help."

“I’m not sure how much help I can be, but I can use my suit to keep the reactor going for long enough to salvage as much as we can, then run.” Suru’Kai said from his suit.
“My suits powered by a small Tritium Reactor: I can give up most of its fuel to keep this ships reactor burning long enough for us to bail. Are you lot OK with me going to the Reactor?”

Mylo saw Khan freeze up and did his best not to wince. It would not do either of them well to choke right now.
"Yes, I'll lead you there myself." Truthfully the engineer thought that the amount of fuel in the weapon master's suit would be barely enough to buy them another hour.
When xenobiologist offered to help the ship's medical staff, Lyonheart visibly hesitated, stealing a slight glance at Ferros. Something in him screamed to be on his guard with that one. Finally, he smiled and nodded thankfully. "Of course our medic, Alicia Sheridan, will appreciate the help. I'll let her know you're coming and she'll give you directions to the medical wing. Just a moment." He excused himself before hurrying off to make a call in private.

Several decks above the atrium, a short redheaded woman of medium build was doing her best to avoid pulling her hair out. Her red and white uniform looked like it had been slept in, which wasn't the case given that she had been awaken at the same time Khan and the rest of the emergency staff had been decanted. But the stress of knowing that First Contact was going on near by and could erupt into armed confrontation at the drop of a hat was not helping the fact that Dr. Sheridan was currently handling the physician's equivilent of a triathalon trying to keep everyone that the cryo chambers were spitting out alive.
So naturally it was some what understandable that the urgent beeping of her computer console announcing that she had a priority message was the last thing she wanted to hear.
"WHAT?" Alicia snapped briefly before realizing who was on the other end. "Oh hello Mylo, how is the diplomacy going?" She asked, practically praying for good news.
"Our first conversation with the strangers appears to be about the only thing that isn't falling apart. It appears we attracted the interest of some curious scientists out on a field trip. Their chief physician and one of their biologists have offered to help you out. A couple of their techs are coming with me to keep the reactor going as long as we can. And Alicia... keep an eye on the tall lizard fellow that's coming down." He recommended before looking over his shoulder to see if anyone was listening before continuing. "I don't trust him."
"That's a big surprise, you don't even trust the egg salad the droids fetched for you at the meeting. I swear you're starting to lose it Mylo, three hundred yeas of cryosleep is a long time to dwell on whatever regrets you have. But if it will make you happy, I'll keep an eye on your scaly friend." Sheridan signed off while visibly rolling her eyes.

After Mylo returned from his discreet call, a female voice could be heard over the aliens' communicators. "Umm, hello? Is this thing on? This is Dr. Alicia Sheridan and until we successfully wake up someone who outranks me I guess I'm the ship's chief medical officer. I was told two of you wanted to help? I'll be down in a moment. Things are... a mess up here."
Meanwhile, Rensit would find that he suddenly had the engineering codes he was looking for. Attached to them was a message. "Follow the markers to find me. Signed, Mylo Lyonheart." Sure enough, a combination of holographic markers and hacked computer displays were leaving the engineer a trail of bread crumbs to find the "caretaker."

Suru’Kai’s horns twitch a little: his sensitive hearing just barely picking up what Mylo said as he closed up the suit, but not relaying this to Harper or the rest of the team; knowing that if he warned them, then he would be sowing the seeds of distrust amongst the two teams.

There would be time for that later as he moved his suit along the corridors: following the human to the reactor chamber.

Mylo lead the other technicians to the reactor without a word. Along the way, he made sure to stop and pick up Rensit. As he looked at the winged mammal, the human visibly blinked before putting his helmet back on. "Now I've seen everything..." he muttered softly before continuing to lead on.

Several minutes later, Dr. Sheridan managed to pull herself away from the medical wing to meet Ramas and Harper. Her red and white uniform was faintly smudged with blood and the redheaded woman looked like she was under a great of strain. "Hello, pleased to meet you." she said slowly.

"Greetings. I'm Ramas Eegatis and this is my companion Harper. We're here to help with the medical situation," Ramas said slowly so the translator didn't misconstrue his sentence. His eyes shifted from the human doctor, obviously a female to the unfolding truama scene behind. The few medical personnel who weren't incapacitated by the quick thaw were running to and fro trying to warm the patients, in the corner a group huddled around an older man with a defibbralator.

"Doctor I must be honest, I'm a Xeno-biologist with some first-aid training not a medical doctor, but I'm more the willing to help." As a gesture of good faith Ramas detached the latchs holding he helmet on and pulled it off to reveal his full head to the doctor. A sudden rush of dry, hot air rushed across his fur, he was vaguely reminded of home before the screaming of a child brought him back to reality. The PDA on his forearm automatically picked up on the translation software. "Did your ship increase the temperature in here to speed to recovery from hypothermia?"

“Hang on a sec Mylo.” Suru’Kai said, opening his suit and climbing out; going around to the back of his suit and opening its cargo hatch.
“If I’m going to give up my suits fuel, I need to get the fuel first.”
He climbed inside and started rummaging around. The suits lights suddenly went out as Suru’Kai came climbing out with a large chunk of Tritium Crystal the size of a football in an unusual frame designed to hold the radiation back enough to make it safe to handle. He then smacked it into the ground: chipping off a matchbox sized piece for his suit and tossing it back into the reactor before sealing it back up: turning the suit back on, but the lights were noticeably dimmer.
“How long do you think this will buy us?” Suru’Kai asked, handing Mylo the football sized crystal and climbing back into his suit.

(Well I certainly let this sit long enough)

Dr. Sheridan sighed at the scene of absolute chaos in front of them. "Well, I trust they at least taught you how to treat hypothermia. But to answer your question; yes, that and the systems are not entirely reliable anymore. I can't believe we were frozen for this long. There's almost nothing left for our engineers to fix that's worth the effort."
She shook her head before tending to the screaming child. A young boy, no older then ten by Man's reckoning, was in agony over the frostbite burns leaving blackened spots on his arm. "Please tell me we don't have to amputate." She muttered under her breath, well below what the child could hear.

Mylo looked at the container of tritium. "An hour, maybe an hour and a half if we're lucky and manage to divert power from unnecessary systems. You have to understand, this was new technology when we left home and the reactor core's about the size of a Recreational Vehicle. We haven't really perfected the technology yet." He explained, saying the word instead of the abreviation to avoid some confusion. Of course, Suru probably had no idea what an RV was.

“Well, that’s not too bad for a Prototype.” Suru’Kai said dismissively, knowing what a Recreational Vehicle was, but being a Rakai: believed it was a lot smaller than it actually was, as Rakai RV’s were roughly the size of a small car instead of a bus.

As his suit rolled along the corridor, Suru’Kai spotted a similar Winged Human Poster that Rensit spotted before and was instantly intrigued by it.
“If it’s any consolation, at least our species have something in common; we’ve both got wings.” Suru’Kai said more to Mylo than to Rensit.

"We just have to raise their core body temperature right? My scans indicate a core temprature of thirty-seven degrees, its warmer then that in here. Won't time take care of most of the illness?" Ramas asked cautiously, knowing full well medicine was not his specialty.
