Thousands of years ago a hyper-intelligent machine race known as the Ohm ruled most of the known galaxies.

Now, in the modern era, relics of the Ohm can bankrupt a species to purchase, but they do it anyway for the marvels of engineering each piece contains, from new weapons to starships to drones, the Ohm had it all millenia before anyone else.

You, adventurer. Have come accross an information terminal on a small destroyed frigate leading to the location of what was once referred to as an "Assembly Plant".

An entire planet dedicated to manufacturing Ohm technology as well as the Ohm themselves. You have traveled for over a year to get to it, but now your hard work has paid off.

You arrive in the Fastoon system, where planet Viridia Prime awaits. Go forth, and unlock the secrets of the Ohm, or perish before those who would use their ancient might for nothing but evil. I hope, you make the right choice, when the time comes...

(Yes you can. The story-line happens within my VECTOR universe, in close proximity to the clockwork galaxy, which no-one can enter at this point mind you. But yes, feel free, but for the purpose of this rp, Ohm relics are generally more advanced than most other scientific advances but off course, some advances can be better since after all, Ohm technology has stopped advancing.)

[OOC: Well if I included parts of my Sarruk Majiir universe there are two things you should be aware of. First the "Tao technology" that can actually extract zero point energy only limited by the machinery, permit intergalactic travel at superluminal speeds and can create other phenomenon in conjunction with the unique essence of all terran life. The second are the so called "utility" clouds, swarms of nanoscale machines that can form into any tool although most weapons are still fairly solid since they depend upon the ichor energy modules that extract power from the Tao supernal states. Does this all seem acceptable to use?]

(OOC: The Ohm use wormhole technologies which grant faster than light travel between solar systems as well as galaxies in less than seconds, and they've had nanotechnology for centuries, an Ohm can make anything from nothing but data, convert it to energy then solidify it into any kind of matter. Your technologies are no strangers to me and I very much approve of them. )
