Welcome, Sci-Fi enthusiasts, to Sci-Fi Fur! What exactly is Sci-Fi Fur, you might ask – this website is a place for sci-fi furs to gather and interact with one another in an epic space-opera environment. In addition to role-playing, members are encouraged to share furry-themed artwork and stories, as long as the content is suitable for minors!

The Galactic Federation was not always in power; only through knowledge and understanding was such a massive organization formed. At one time, all species present within the Galactic Federation were separated and spread across numerous worlds. Each planet in each disjointed system harbored its own race of sentient, anthropomorphic animals. In time, each race slowly conquered its own home planet, and became masters of the sky, sea and land; only one more frontier lay unexplored before them: space. Still oblivious to the existence of other sentient life in the galaxy, a few races tinkered and toiled away, until their ingenuity gave birth to the first generation of star ships that would sweep through space while allowing the life aboard it to explore the rest of the galaxy. First contact was eventually made between races in neighboring galaxies. More often than not, the races would agree to peaceful coexistence; a few times, however, war would break out between the two species.
Much time has passed since then, and a massive federation has been formed from an alliance of all discovered races. United under one banner, they all dash forward into the depths of space in hopes of making new discoveries and finding new allies. The possibility for danger always exists, naturally, but the brave members of the Galactic Federation are more than willing to take whatever trouble lies before them head-on.

Thats a pretty cool summary of this forum's "universe" as well as good propaganda for the Federation. I'll join, thats for sure...oh wait, I have <..<

Well, I think species may add a bit of speciality, like for wolves it might be tracking comes naturally, but I think I'll stick to the inventing/mad science side of things...wait, mad science, I meant..."Engineering" <..< Yeah, thats the ticket...

Just curious, but is there anyway that we can get the font size shrunken down a little bit? x.x It's just a little hard on the eyes I would think, especially if it's on the front page. Just a thought.

I have a question, are there governments in galaxy's father out that boarder on the federation, that refuse to give up there sovereignty to join the feds?
