The otter mouthed "Thank God..." to himself as he reviewed information on the pad, comparing it to that data that was stored in the Neruo-optic network that housed the stations data. He scrolled through the data before he saw the number of worlds...

"What the...?" He said looking, he rechecked it for a moment. "Alright go..." He waved him through. The near inaudible soft sound of muscles contracting as the door was opened could be heard..."Um...watch for the thetas..." He said it a forced smiled, once the canine had passed through he went back to rechecking the data.

"Some one has to be messing with me..." He said to himself....

On the other side, four impressive looking organisms stood around one dragon in seemingly casual stance. Do to the biological perfection in there biology even a causal glance at one of the Thetas one could tell that they where engineered from the ground up....

Darien looks over to the entering construct. He shrugs. .o(May as well make some small talk... ) He walks over to him.

"Ahm, hello. I noticed your ship is using wormhole technology. Is that per chance purchased from the Federal Coalition of Dagmar? We have a very sophisticated system of using wormhole travel ourselves, you see..."

Nodding in acknowledgment the android proceeded through the customs gate, upon arriving at some sort of lounge however he was approached by an unidentified organic life-form, questioning him about the nature of the Savants wormhole generation drive.

Searching for this "Federal Coalition of Dagmar" briefly within his mnemonic data banks he came up with nothing. Staring back at the life-form he decided to respond to the question.

"That information would be false if I were to reply with an acknowledging statement. The YK-234/G2 Fold-space wormhole generation drive is a prototype redesigning of the original YT-200/B-4 model Fold-space wormhole generation device. It is the property of the T'Kayan VECTOR Alliance, and has been in use since our first utilization of interplanetary travel circa 1000 standard galactic years ago. "

Seitei twitched his ears, his eyes narrowing and expanding, each eye separately, zooming in on the strange draconic life-form accompanied by what appeared to be biological escort units, a brief analysis of their bladed arms revealed a mono-molecular edge, however in case of melee combat his bio-adaptive exterior armor coating should be sufficient to blunt a number of blows before failing.

Returning his attention to the life-form before him he decided he might as well engage in small-talk.

"What is this Federal Alliance of Dagma? It is unheard of by the T'Kayans, though we control many systems, I am but a recent arrival at this galactic super-mass. "

"That's... probably because we joined in galactic politics less than 2 years ago... We're a pretty small set of systems." He ponders for a moment.

"I happen to be an engineer working on the Step-through technology. I'm interested, how does yours work? What limitations does it have? How far can it go? How much energy does it take?"

He pauses. "Oh, eh, sorry if I'm being rude, I'm just curious."

"I'm sorry if I troubled you, Officers." Kai'Sera said nervously, walking over to a bench next to some small pot plants. She searched through her bag for a small carton of juice she bough from the tourist center before biting it and sapping out the contents; using her two large fangs like straws.

She looked around the area, locking eyes with the machine creature for a second; her enchanced eyesight able to see into the ultraviolet and infrared spectrums, showing her that he was a machine, but she didn't care much.

Rashek kneels down and opened the large case he was holding again, checking its contents. Satisfied, he snaps it back with several loud snaps. He sighs, picking it back up, checking his armor over as he headed for the front desk, where a rather large bionic canine-being talked to a rather weary otter behind the desk. He chuckles to himself, and unseals the top half of his helmet, a little ways under his lower jaw, and pulls it off, tucking it into his elbow. He walks up behind the canine, standing patiently, listening to the conversation closely as his eyes wander about the area.

Chet looked at the ivory dragon.

"Do you make it a practice of busying yourself with the affairs of the police force?" he said simply, his tail wagging. He was almost sure of who he was talking to, though they had never met.

"Despite the fact I am almost sure you are affiliated with Sky Dragon, I am sure you will present your ID before inquiring on official police business, even if it was all a misunderstanding which we have resolved and there is no need for you to get involved."

Chet nodded his smooth doberman face confident that he had answered the others' question in a round about way. No SDI was going to push him around. It didn't matter how rich or what rank they had with the company, they still fell under Caprican law.

Chet wanted to turn his attention back to the interesting woman who was now sipping her juice, but he figured he needed to see to this situation first. He didn't like to mess around while thetas were around.

Kai'Sera quickly scanned over the area, looking at the bizarre array of creatures over the area. She noticed that the Doberman Security guard was watching her intently. Embarrassed and a little spooked, she looked down and fished out a small leather-bound book from her bag and a small bottle of a thick dark silver ink.

Putting down the empty carton into her bag, she dipped one of her claws into the ink and started writing; using her claw like a Dip Pen. Because no-one in this sector of the galaxy could read or even translate Rakeese besides her; she didn't have to worry about anyone looking over her shoulder reading her journal as she scribbled away in the incomprehensible language. As she wrote, she quietly muttered what she wrote to herself in Rakeese.

Giving a rather warm smile for a synthetic life-form Seitei twitched his ears and spoke with a much softer, more organic sounding voice, it seemed he now considered the topic to be of personal level.

"The drive does not have any limitations imposed on it, seeing as how it opens a portal that leads into fold-space where distance always equals 0, jumping from one end of the galaxy to the other, is just as easy as jumping from a system to an adjacent one, the distance remains zero.

To be specific, once initiated the drive creates a shortcut, via simultaneous synchronized optical observation it has been confirmed that using the drive means leaving and arriving at the exact same time, it takes 35 seconds to power up and prepare the drive, but once initiated transition time is null.

The drive itself is based on simply opening a portal using dimensional anchor targeting lasers then extending the necessary shield poles to dissipate excess exterior energy before it has a chance to strike the shielded hull of the vessel.

The technology is classified I am afraid but I am permitted to say, it allows us to traverse any distance instantly, even if it's between galaxies hundreds of light years apart, if we know where we are going, there's nothing to stop us from getting there.

Power requirements are nullified via the multiple power core design of T'Kayan vessels, the engine drive alone has two cores dedicated to it's powering. "

Looking up from his conversation with the other life-form for a while, he wasn't very tall, only about 5'10' and 5' of that were his ears, he zoomed in one one of the Thetas briefly, the musculature and skeletal structure was flawless, a perfectly engineered creature, indeed this GSA appeared to have been the perfect choice for a possible alliance discussion.

He chuckled for a moment, he did find the site a little amusing. Of course, this officer was not aware so he pulled a small organic crystal from his pocket. As he ran a claw over its surface it lit up giving Identification information.

There was other miscellaneous information, it contained his DNA, a holographic picture of the dragon. He put the cube away again. "Now we have that over with..." He said, "I have some work to do..." He said, leaving the police officer, he was about to leave when the canine had caught his, he walked over to him, much to the dismay of the Thetas, they could tell he was not a living creature in the traditional sense. "Oh hello...My name is Dresden Cartwright...what would be your name?"

"I see... Well, that takes less energy and time than ours do, but the distance limitations are similarly nonexistent on our generators. However, we only have three systems to our name, so we're proceeding with extreme caution with regards to expansion. One idea is to find a relatively unoccupied section of this or any other galaxy and work on expanding there, but we're still compiling possible zones via drone surveys.

"Our technology works by creating an infinitesimally small worm hole to any point we choose within the universe. This worm hole can be held open as long as power is being given to the step-through generator. This allows other ships to pass through if the situation requires it. The biggest limitation, however, is that we have to open up to a point with the same gravity potential. Your civilization seems to have gotten around that, any pointers you're allowed to give a fledgling civilization?"

He looks to the dragon and shifts uncomfortably at the sight of the escorts.

"Pointers given would be too complex to emit in vocal sonic vibration form, I can however tell you that you should look more carefully into Fold-space. Fold-space is space that exists beneath sub-space, and that certain areas permit faster travel than others, the universe is connected together via gravimetric lines.

When a planetary mass forms it sometimes creates a gravimetically stable pathway from itself to the nearest adjacent star via Fold-space, a straight and narrow line, branching out across the galaxy but not between galactic super clusters. If my mission here is a success and ambassadorial drone can be dispatched to your home system, should you wish for a possible mutual relationship to be developed. "


Twitching his ears Seitei rotated his head and faced the draconian, more specifically he had to look up to speak to him, being only five foot ten, half those ten inches being generated by his big ears, zooming in and out with his eyes, separately he spoke up.

"Seitei Tensai, AVI serial number 245/8304-23B bicentennial model, Hakushaku series, canine ver. Semi-standing ambassadorial unit of the T'Kayan VECTOR Alliance, Parun Nova headquarters. Security level A exemption, awareness level 100%"

He responded in a soft voice, his frame being of some interest, a mix between a rather attractive young male of about 21 years of age and a bionic exoskeleton covering most parts of his body, making him seem cybernetic in nature, besides the obvious it'd be easy for the Thetas to determine he was not organic by the fact he didn't smell of... Anything, and emitted no pheromones of which to speak.

"Amplify query, what is SDI? " He asked right after, his youthful face taking on a quizzical expression as suddenly ports on each side of his head opened up, revealing what looked like air-intakes on an old fashioned fighter except he expelled vapor, which turned out to be condensed heat before collapsing and closing the exhaust ports right after.

"SDI is the acronym for Sky Dragon Innovations, the largest Provider of Ships, Arms, Computer Technology, and Raw materials in the Galactic Systems Alliance." He said with a soft smile. "But i'd say i don't often see many people that cybernetic, if you haven't noticed most things we use are alive in some aspect or another." That was an overstatement, this was his first time seeing anything cybernetic in over 200 years. "So what brings you to our station...well...my station?" He asked. Anyone looking at his wings through a thermal camera would notice that they where dumping enormous (For a living being anyway) amounts of heat into the surround air.

"Ah, yes. I think my government wouldn't mind developing healthy relations with a more advanced civilization..."

He turns back to the Dragon and twitches his whiskers. He says nothing, assuming that the dragon must be talking to the construct.

Twitching his ears more and fluffing up his tail, seemingly an emotional act, he responded.

"Your information is partially factual. I am not designed with organic components, my design mirrors the functions of certain organic parts but I assure you, not a single one of those components is integrated into my design, though I detect excess thermal emissions from your wing units.

Possibility of extensive internal biological heat due to unique anatomy or inefficient internal cybernetic coolant systems, thermal output is concentrated however, possibility of high-level cybernetic modification to cerebral cortex and physical structure or perhaps an outlet for extreme thinking? Apologies, I allowed my analysis software to get the better of me.

I am here on behalf of VECTOR, a galactic alliance of over a million worlds from a galactic super cluster some 10.5 standard galactic years from this one. My purpose on this, did you say this station belonged to you? Then you must be the person I am supposed to adhere to.


The T'Kayan VECTOR Alliance has only recently discovered this galactic super-cluster and the frequent conflicts in it, we wished to establish a borderline colony for possible future interactions with the species here, yet it appears this GSA is the most stable one and thus I was sent ahead of the colonization effort fleet to determine the possibility of an alliance of some sorts. "

Seitei finished, allowing his sensors to run a quick scan over the draconians body, aside from the obvious thermal outlet, he was smoking hot... Blinking to rid his head of such lewd thoughts he got back to the subject at hand.

"Well, then yes i own this station, and what do you mean by adhere to?" He asked, "Just because i own doesn't mean i run it...You have good eye's though, my internal body temperature in much higher than the average mammal. But all my modifications are organic in nature and produce much less heat that cybernetic ones. " He shrugged, "Well, if you are really here for diplomacy then i'd advise you to come to the Bilderberg meet at SDI Head Quarters which is coming up in a few weeks..." He said, "Your more than welcome to sit in on it...." He said, he turned to the Otter, "Did you need something?"

One of the Theta's had walked off to prep the shuttle, the Dragon wasn't going to stay around for much longer.

He looks up at the dragon. "Oh, uh, not really. But... where will this meet be, exactly? My government will also probably want to try and establish relations with the GSA..."

He looks back at the construct. "But yeah, if you guys want to form relations with our government, They'd be more than happy to begin talks and such..."

The Dragon pulls out a small organic holo pad. He pressed one button before he holds out for them to see, an 45 centimeter x 45 centimeter image appeared above the holo pad...



"89th floor of the tallest of the towers, you need an invitation to get in though as security is paramount." He said, "But first we'll have to check that you are who you say you are, if verified we'll give you an invitation."

Acknowledging the offer he rotated his head to the other life-form.

"We the T'Kayan Alliance would be honored to begin conversation with your people. The Federal Republic of Dagmar was it? And you. "

He rotated his head back towards the dragon.

"You can examine my mnemonic data banks for the information you seek but you may not attempt to access secure sections of it, they are heavily defended. "

Nodding, examining the bio-graph, memorizing it he now awaited the chance to go and sit in on this convention. Politics was a strange thing, there was little of it back from where he came from.

"Federal Coalition of Dagmar, not Republic." He says. "And excellent. Our home world is at <Coordinates> (I dunno how the position system works in this concept, so meh.), fourth planet out."

He looks back to the Dragon. "I Have all the forms and such on both digital and hard copies with me..." He begins to reach into his bag.

"Thats not what i meant..." He said, "We'll Verify, and its almost a month away so don't worry about it..." The theta that had left had returned. "Mr.Cartwright your shuttle is ready..." He nodded, "we'll this looks a good bye for now...enjoy your stay in New Copenhagen, which is where i assume you are going if you plan to attend the meet..." With that, the friend dragon left them for the moment, it would seem that politics ran differently in the GSA than in most other nations. A moment later the Dragon disappeared behind organic blast doors. A message came across the center...

The space elevator to New Copenhagen is now boarding, any other destination can be reached via the Caprican shuttle system...

Darien stops rummaging through his bag. "Oh, never mind then..."

He looks to the construct. "Well, pleasure meeting you. Hope our government gets in your good graces." He says with a smile as he begins to make for the elevator.

The doberman walked away to live his life in Caprica up to the point of his death, content having met the owner of SDI.

Rashek steps up to the desk, glancing around a bit, and sets the rather large case on the desk.
"I'm here to file for a permit. One interchangeable weapon system and one pistol. What all info do I need to fill out?" He grins, unsnapping and opening the case, showing him the contents.

The otter looked up again upon seeing the weapons in cases. "Hey, welcome to the Ashland customs desk, um...here..." He said looking up at the wolf, he was happy he was going to be leaving after this guy was through as his shift was over in a few moments, but in the meantime he slid a sheet of bio paper through. It lit up looking like a contract of old. "Sign here, and here, and DNA fingerprint here..."

Nodding to the Federal Coalition of Dagmars representative Seitei decided to head down towards the planet. Proceeding past organic doors to a sleeper car designated for people on their way down to new Copenhagen, deciding to sleep-cycle his way through it he smiled, this would be an interesting ride.

Darien steps into the elevator chamber as well, aiming to take a seat. He'd have to officially log his preliminary report for the rest of the crew of his ship on the way down. From the sound of it, he'd have the time to.

Kai'Sera stopped writing in her Journal and quickly hurried over to the lift, getting inside just as it closed. Since she didn't have a ship to get her home, she figured she may as well explore the planet a bit.

As she got inside, she accidentally bumped the andriod with one of her wings.

Now departing Ashland Station...

A jolt could be felt as the Elevator room departed. The room it self was fairly large about the same size as the tourist center, expect this was more crowded than the center though with about fifty or so beings most of the people seemed to be of GSA origin though as their clothing mirror their birth place. Those of Caprican descent wore iridescent colors. While those from Menovara wore darker colors of purple and indigo.

Now entering Caprica's Atmosphere, those that are interested may looking out the highlighted windows to view New Copenhagen

For anyone that looked out the window they would have seen vast ocean with an large floating mass seeming attached to nothing. The mass was the floating city of New Copenhagen, it at its widest point the city was over two hundred kilometers across with green scatted around the buildings. As they got closer it seems that water used as an art form. Everywhere anyone looked flowing water was used as a decoration and stylization to the buildings. The room they had been using to get the surface came to a halt near the out edge of the city.

At the end of the message the organic doors opened and the salty sea air of New Copenhagen flooded into the chamber....

"Dresden, the Theta mentioned you were on your way and I was with him when he checked on the shuttle. Crew seem a bit more diligent when theta are around." she chuckled and let her eyes fall to Dresden's mouth hoping he would speak or smile. She enjoyed observing his teeth and would admire them discreetly when she had the chance. Some times she would look over his body to make sure it was with out blemish, helping ensure he would not have cause for embarrassment in public. Her long and lusty furred tail swayed freely behind her. It was a sign that she was relaxed.

Living and working for SDI over the past three and a half years gave her more than enough time to get acquainted with the companies engineering as well as Dresden's company allowing her a seance of security that put her mind at ease and allowed her to focus on her job with clarity. She was diligent and those that worked with her when she first started with SDI would know that after meeting Dresden she was never quick to anger, or one to give into stress. She did not speak much of her self and did not complain as the company saw to her needs and rewarded her for good work which created a rather positive cycle.

As the anthro dragons and Theta came closer, she stepped aside as to not inhibit their progress.
