"Darien: Take this, just for safety reasons." Suru'Kai said, handing him one of his Laser Pistols before withdrawing his two Cyclone Rifles.

"What happened to those Rakai? The one outside, this one and the one that ran off?" Suru'Kai snarled, Pulling out a pair of fresh energy cells and reloading his Cyclone Rifles in the blink of an eye and adjusting his Visor to read Thermal Signatures.

The same voice, now definately tinged with humour comes again.
"Shadows are everywhere. Just a matter of where the light falls."
The voice seems to taunt Arratra.
"Anyone with access to a Cortex can find us. No secrets here."
For those who can see the figure speaking to them, blurred though the optics make it, one would realise the person talking was a female. Cortex-linked systems would identify her as a Kaitanian.

"There is no guilt to be established. We don't play games with the guilty. There is no need to explain."
She points at Suru'Kai. "A Rakai! We are hunting a Rakai." She pauses and tilts her head, then speaks again. "No, ex-Rakai is better, no longer a Rakai."
The figure shrugs. "Well... the first one died, from the third. The second was killed by the third. The third is still alive. A er... Subject."
There is a burst of radio noise.
"Hei Feng Di, your squad is ahead. I've told you to ignore them. I'm making this a GSA Directive. Stop playing, and finish the mission."
    "Yes sir."
A hand is raised peacefully, as she backpedals, clearly intent on catching up with her squad, there is a knife sheathed on her side, and a rifle on a strap.
She starts barking orders again, in Kaitanese, they head as a group deeper into the facility.
Her voice comes back with one final message.
"This place in in lockdown till we get the subject."
She didn't make it clear if this meant kill, or capture.

Suru'Kai snarled threateningly as a foot long Diamond edged blades slid out from his Hands like a pair of Katar.
    "What do you mean EX-Rakai?"
It was blatantly obvious that the one thing guaranteed to get under Suru'Kai's Skin was Experimentation on his kind.

I can no longer talk to the ships ONI(My nickname for Reapers biological AI's), I can no longer provide any assistance with that glitchy drone, I have missed several interesting action points. All in all, I've completely lost my place in this rp. *Sigh* Never mind then.)

Not six meters inside the door the was a dead Hei Tribe Kaitanian member, its Stealth unit had been damaged cause it to phase in out of existence. The red Rakai had returned for a moment it was standing in the hall way, one thing that was noticeable was it had no eyes they had been ripped from there sockets, weather it had been self inflicted or done by another is unknown. One thing though is that it was staring directly at them though it seemed intrigued for the moment. Half a second later the sicking crack of bones breaking and grinding against each other is head as one of the stealth unit is smashed against the wall by an unknown force.

The corridor, despite being empty at first, is now filled with confused shouts. Most tinged with panic, and fear. So used are the Hei to their stealth supremacy that it's clear most are shocked. The stealth trooper flung into the wall, is revealed as his systems shut down. He spits blood, and calls out in Kaitanese, adding to the confusion.
    "Cao!"
"Ta hui du wo men da!"
    "Ta ma de!"
"Shi Guan! Wo men ban shen me?!"
Twin booms of sound echo near the far end of the corridor, as two open fire, emptying ammunition, projectiles coming out of no where.
    "Qu Di Yu!"
    "Qu Si!"
One more follows suit, and opens up. The resulting sound creating a booming backwash. It quickly becomes clear, that the gunfire is achieving nothing. The three that fired begin moving back down the corridor and grab the wounded by the underarms, dragging him back.
The fourth pulls his knife out, and charges, intent with closing with the rakai. The shouts fly back and forth with almost as much noise as the guns.
From the sergeant's comms, there is a sudden voice, in GSA common and angered.
    "SHUT UP! SILENCE IN KAITANESE."
    Feng Di repeats the order.
    "YAO!"
The comms frequency clears up, though the corridor is still filled with the rough dragging sounds and muted whimpers of the wounded Kaitanian.
Feng Di's form becomes visible as her stealth field shuts down. She howls a challenge and charges down the corridor, to assist her squad, drawing her knife.
A force flings the Kaitanian charging the rakai into Feng Di, they go down in a tangle of fur and limbs. From the few Kaitanians visible it is clear these are no hardened veterans, or even line infantry, not even regular soldiers. Nothing more than youthful, inexperienced guards. Little more than adults.

“What on Ra…?” Suru’Kai murmured under his breath upon sight of the Rakai effortlessly stopping the Shadows with its thoughts it seemed. He carefully holstered his weapons and retracted his blades, raising a hand behind his back at the rest of the team.
    “Lower your weapons.”
Whatever Suru’Kai was thinking, It was apparent he wanted the Rakai not to be harmed as he slowly approached it, trying not to make himself seem threatening.

(OOC: I will try to re-intigrate myself into this mess of an rp... If for no other reason than to let the people who seem to enjoy it continue to do so.)

Dried blood, spilled guts, fried circuitry, gunfire, screams and curses in alien languages. All this seemed to happen as if though time were on fast forward, him having neither say nor act in the equation that seemed to, weave itself before him like a strand of trinary, the very linguistic math that comprised his base code AI.

The unknowns, the ones that had been so cocky and seemingly overconfident of themselves before, were now fleeing in terror, recrouping and cursing in a manner that had he understood the language, would have made even him embarrassed to hear. Quietly diverting his gaze from one event to another, standing still...

A sentinel it seemed, deeming nothing of what happened to be of any real threat to himself he just stood there. Everyone in the room, for all he knew, could be butchered and he would neither act in their defense, or in the offense of the attacker.

When treated like a statue, a mere optional attachment removable at any time, it is but logical to ignore the ones who were suppposed to be in your team, even if they were choking in their own blood. Dropping his desert camo he re-assumed his normal coloration. Majority white, some part black, lightly industrial orange and minimally blue LEDs. His quantum brain offered many senses that could not be engineered genetically with any ease into a life-form.

One of which was his psionic disturbance sensor. It wasn't a big disturbance, but it was enough to make the stable line twitch up and and down, and sometimes waver like a growling noice on his direct-brain interface display. Diverting his gaze in the general direction of the disturbance he spotted the creature that quite possible, had caused all this chaos and destruction.

Deciding that he would move, noticing Suru'kai moving towards the creature. Ignoring the fleeing Kaitanesians he spotted some of them huddling in a corner, one of them, according to memory, was the one that had threatened Suru'kai's windpipe earlier with a primitive edged weapon. Rotating his head towards them, an expression almost frightful, as it bore neither emotion, emphathy or even hate, it was utterly expressionless save for a few spoken words.

"You are a disgrace. To your families and your whole species. If anything you were useful as distractions. Nothing more... " Turning his head he continued towards the creature, bumping past Suru'kai, as according to his sensor readouts, and the fact that the creature had no eyes, he ought to be invisible to it.

Stepping right up to the creature, bumping past Suru'kai, turning his head towards him. "Allow me. I aim to be of some use to this disfunctional little troupe." Continuing on his journey he arrived right before the creature, no more than half a foot away.

His expression seemed to lessen, soften into a caring... Concerned one as he gazed upon the creatures damaged eyes.

Reaching his hands up he carefully placed them upon the creatures head. Emitting a faint electromagnetic pulse, coarsing it through his palms and into the creature it would act as a form of nerve impulse, a message. His signature, emitted through touch, a sign of goodwill, a message reading calmness, that there was no desire on his behalf to engage in combat.

He had no intention of causing harm to the creature and to prove his point opened a small port on his forearm and let a bit of bluish-white gel slither onto his fingertips, gently rubbing it over the poor creatures destroyed eyes, the wounds would begin to clot up. Nanomite gel-layer.

It covered the damaged eyes and would soothe the creatures pain, disinfecting the sockets as well. Standing there for a mere moment he allowed the creature to calm, turning his head towards Suru'kai. "Organics are simple to communicate with once you know the right method. Luckily these worthless guards caused no significant damage, if any whatsoever. "

Just because an action seems like the right thing at the time doesn’t mean it is. The red Rakai had a very claim neigh childlike demeanor. It rubbed its head against the invisible hand that didn’t appear in its ‘vision’. It felt something in its empty eye sockets, the objects in which it tore out with its own claws, it felt the slight throbbing it still felt fade away, at first it was delighted, but then a random memory flashed before its mind eye, the scientist before done the same thing, then put the lying organs back in its skull.

“Lies! ZVJN!” It said in a mad fit clawing at its eye sockets ripping the nanomite layers on its eyes, “They lied, they all lied, and the invisible hand lied, only my sight holds the truth, nothing more…”

It would have seemed like a overpressure wave had hit the group, a massive wave of force, far more than necessary slammed into anyone in the corridor sending them flying out into the hanger, the heavier group members landed a few meters outside the door sliding across the floor. The lighter ones where sent sliding and rolling across the hanger floor at bone jarring speed.

The Rakai it appeared was very frail, frightened, and insane as it hobbled off down the corridor away from the lying mass of life forces and the dead hand that spoke nothing but lies…lies…lies…

“Whoa!” Suru’Kai shrieked as he was thrown back into the hanger: slamming hard into a steel crate and leaving a dent in it.
“Oww… that smarts...” He groaned as he got up and glared at the Rakai: his eyes glowing red in fury.
“DRTK XOJEJ KCU TEJ!” he roared at the Rakai, taking aim and firing three tiny darts at it from a dart launcher on his arm, while one exploded in the barrel, burning him badly.

Arratra managed to brace himself, but almost lost his rifle; it was torn from his hand, and it was only a split-second reaction that he was able to catch it. He managed to draw his pistol, already loaded with cryo rounds, and fired a shot; the round impacted the Rakai's shoulder, and ice began spreading across the creature. He then swung his hand, and a wall of force appeared before the creature; Arratra was forced to stop, frozen in place, to maintain this barrier.
"Quickly!" he exclaimed, "I can't hold the barrier for long!"
The psionic abilities of the SCIONs were a side-effect of the environment they had spent much of their childhood in; a previously unknown element had gifted them with psionic abilities, although the level of these powers varied tremendously between the SCION troopers. Arratra was a little on the stronger side, but he specialised in flinging enemies around and dealing direct damage with his spatial-distortion powers, rather than holding up barriers. Thus, he was having to focus intensely on holding up the barrier, and even then it was weak.

Most of the squad, despite not understanding the words spoken by the android, were in a position to guess the content.
They made gestures of contempt. Some pressing two fingers on their hand to their muzzle before raising those fingers to the air.
An old Kaitanian sign of contempt, the meaning: 'May the soul be plucked from your body.'
Feng Di, snarled, and managed to spit out an insult in GSA common, before elaborating in Kaitanese.
She had a duty to do. The GSA demanded it of her, and the squad as a whole.
For the first time since they'd made themselves known, the squad as a group switched off their stealth gear.
Their clothes had shoulder markings bearing the GSA dragon symbol, and the Hei Tribe symbol.
From the fur exposed, one could see the Kaitanian's had all black fur.
Their weapons were hanging on straps, safeties on. The four still standing had knives drawn and held low and ready.
Despite their clear disadvantage, they would go again. As they looked down the corridor, they saw, with great surprise, the ease with which the android approached the Rakai.
They could use this to their advantage to close. Though, before they could act, the creature went beserk and retreated.

Now that their physical stature could be seen, one would be aware that the Kaitanian species was a frail species. Tall, graceful looking, but distinctly light.
Rashek, or indeed anyone present would probably best such a species in combat, were it not for their reliance on stealth.

Feng Di's dry whisper started up as she tweaked her comms.
"Squad has taken casualties. There are further units ahead, dead. Subject has fallen back, deeper into the complex. Orders?"
    A silence... then:
"GSA order change. Haul your damn tails over to Command HQ, NOW. Bring the wounded to medical Sector 7."
    "Yes sir."
She relayed the same to the squad, who set up a stretcher, hauled up the 5th member.
The SCION trooper holding the creature, despite their desire to aid, their orders were clear, their duty clearer. They could not, would not assist.
Though, Feng Di would have thought the trooper to be outmatched.

The squad, as a group sheathed their knives, some sighing and shaking their heads. As if this wasn't the first time they'd recieved an order such...
Feng Di, out of sight of the group, slammed a fist into a wall as she walked.
More trouble for her record. Great.
None of them liked this. They had overstepped their mark, that much they did know.

The Ice was spreading but soon fell to the floor showing that it was a waste of ammunition that the Cyro round only hit a small protective psionic barrier. It was like a mass of glowing light to the Rakai it merely merely flicked its wrist causing the barrier to shatter into nothing. It was now apperent that the Rakai was an extermely powerful psionic merely by its own emanations alone, though one thing was well known about psions, the more powerful they where, the less sane they where...

A Dart that Suru’Kai fired was able to impact on the unnamed Rakai in the leg, which caused it to snarl wildly. It whipped around to look at its attackers, both the SCION and Suru'Kai. Both of them are picked up off the ground and flown again this time towards each other...The Rakai doesn't stay to watch his handy work as it hobbled off farther down the hall, the effect of the dart taking hold...

    (And we wait for bios.)

Wheras most would have been flung qutie a distance by the psionic shockwave effect Quanta's built in Inertial dampeners, kinetic energy buffer and electrostatic gyroscopic re-balancer and equilibrium stabalizing systems enabled him to regain his position to land quite gracefully.

Almost feline like upon his paws on the ground afterwards, the climbing claws built into his armor for melee and actual climbing purposes engaged their sonic frequency adapters, causing their undersides to glow a light blue as he dug them into the solid ground with no resistance.

Deactivating the emitters he clung to the ground, compacting himself into a small huddled ball and engaging his defenses to keep from being blown far away.

Looking up at the creature, his expression had not changed. If anything it was deep pity for the creature which had obviously been wronged, but how he could not be sure. For all he knew it had voluntarily entered this facility in order to be of use to it's government, and things had just taken an unexpected, and terrible turn.

Engaging one of his personal defense laser optics he focussed and destroyed one of the darts Suru'Kai had fired, the one that hit he had been too late to intercept but at least he kept the creatuer from further harm on behalf of the enraged, illogical actions of the Rakai soldier.

Standing up he re-sheathed his claws, looking around with all his sensors turned to maximum input reception. Scent, seismic, motion and bio-scans put the creature down the hallway, it was injured, but less so than it could have been.

This was a good sign, it meant that quite possible it could still be reasoned with, as it had spoken just moments before wreaking all this havoc. It could still be reasoned with hopefully, and if it could, then whatever went down here, could be revealed.

“Whoa-Whoa-Whoa! Hey, put me down you little Bast- ARGH!” Suru’Kai screamed as he was thrown again before colliding with Arratra with a sickening crunch and a shriek of pain: landing in a heap on the floor.
“Argh… that’s twice in less than a Minute I’ve been thrown into something…” He growled, getting to his feet with one of his wings hanging limply against his back.
“And my wing’s broken… Wonderful…” he sighed; retracting the Dart Launcher into his Gauntlet.
“You didn’t have to destroy the Darts Quanti: they wern’t Poisonous. It’s a Powerful Sedative designed specifically for knocking out Rakai. He should be unconscious in about a Minute give or take. I don’t want him harmed any more than you do.”

From the Rakai’s perspective the world was vastly different, now there where colors in his line of slight, rather the nameless emotions and thoughts that passed by him every moment of his existence. The sedative had what some would call an unintended side-effect. While it was a neural depressor it caused his abilities to momentarily flare up for a moment sending a psionic flare out from its body it caused a bright flash of purple-red light imprinting an image and a sensation on the minds of the organics. It was a laboratory seen from a Rakaian perspective though the world was inverted blue was orange, black was white. This was how the insane Rakai saw the world it seemed, though the sensation of still bleeding eyes could be felt. The view of glass shattering along with the sound, ghosts appeared, masses of light blue red in color, though there was no body to speak of or even anything that could be connected with a begin just the knowledge that it was alive. The vision shifted to the hanger, again everyone it saw was merely masses of life force, while the android appeared though it radiated no life, even then it was only a shadow no different from the rest of its surrounding.

(React to this how you wish Bios not sure if you get the message or not)

The Kaitan squad were only halfway down the corridor, when the psychic flare occured. Two collapsed instantly, blood leaking from their ears and eyes, their faces slack as they winced and convulsed in pain.
The Kaitanian on the stretcher, jerked as if in convulsions and blood dripped from his muzzle, as he winced. He'd clearly bitten his tongue.
Another fell to his knees clutching his head, a whimper escaping. The fourth also a woman, coughed blood as she experienced the visions.
Feng Di similarly fell to her knees and threw up, and continued to enter into dry heaves and a cold sweat broke out.
They all felt it, they all suffered from it, badly. The visions sent by the Rakai coming at them in nauseating waves.

Arratra winced as the barrier was broken. When the psychic explosion occurred, he gripped his helmeted head and screamed. The reaction was not a sign of weakness, but a reaction to the utter agony in his head, brought about by the sudden and intense intrusion by the alien mind. Glass cracked and shattered around him as he let loose an explosion of his own, out of pain. Anyone still on their feet would be knocked down (bar, perhaps, the android), and several pieces of heavy equipment were sent flying into walls, where they embedded themselves.

Suru’Kai didn’t even cry out as he was thrown away from Arratra. Being the closest to him, he was thrown the most violently, slamming into a large steel door before collapsing again in a bruised heap on the floor.
“Since when did I make the transformation from Living creature to a bloody Rag Doll?!” He snarled, getting to his feet again, rather gingerly this time as he’d dislocated his other wing upon impact.
“Ty’Phera… It’s just- It never ends.” He growled, relocating his wing with a loud crunch and a grunt of pain. “Maybe I can get stabbed, poisoned, irradiated, electrocuted and Shot before the end of the day. The way today’s going, I probably will…”

Darien meeps as he watches the Battle. He hold up the laser pistol, takes aim, then winces as he fires at an enemy.

(OOC: It makes sense Dresden. I'd appear as a piece of the environment but he should not be able to specifically pinpoint me.)

"I apologize, I thought they were additional cryo-stasis devices. " Quanta made a gesture of getting up when Arratra's own explosion occurred. His sensors registered a massive pusle of alpha, beta and even gamma type quantum brain waves.

Unprepared he was flung back, bracing himself... A sudden painful alert jarred him. A single sharp bit of unknown metal had been flung at him, and it had embedded itself in his left pectoral muscle, quite deeply so. The damage was enough to distract him enough to be flung straight into a nearby industrial device.

A damaged pipe framework impaled him through the gut. It was a thin pipe, but that much damage would have easily killed anything that lived. A temporary short-out caused his vision to blurr...

And he went limb, looking much dead, seeing as how he had no life-readings to be analyzed for locomotive function or cerebral thought patterns.

His limbs twitched a bit as his damaged circuits electrical impulses were mislead by the metal embedded in his chest and gut. Light glowing blue liquid seeped from his wounds, it was almost like water but thicker, like blue blood.
