Speech or Music?

I was just wondering; do you guys want a focus on speech and people yaking/goofing off in XAP or do you want a focus on music and sitting back to enjoy tunes?

I would focus on speech. We could have some music in there as well, but I think the music shouldn't be in the main podcast and rather made available as seperate downloads so people can download the ones they want.

The question was not about delivery of content or structure of the show. But if you want to discuss it very well: No. Assaulting listeners with half a dozen links is out of the question when the point is a single episode every so often with all the content compiled.

Maybe do a bit of both. Have the links to the individual songs along with having them in the episode. If someone likes a song, I don't think they should have to go through the process of cutting it out of the episode and tagging it themselves.

Well of course there will be links to say FA pages of the artists and tracks featured since we will be focusing on furbrew music.

I'd say focus on speech, but then again I would, wouldn't I? XD
There's a lot of great furry music out there, but I've always found music based podcasts rather boring. I imagine our current music section to be like an interview or review of a furry musician, in which case playing maybe one full song and then excerpts of others would be quite enough. Even the music section, in my mind, is about half anf half speech/music.
That said, if we stick with the Uplink system, we should maybe each have our own 10 - 20 sec intro/outro music. Just so it's clear when one ends and the next begins.
