Character Name: Arratra Drakenguard

Age: Unknown; first recorded encounter with him was three years ago, when he was physically 20. He has not aged since.
Allegiance: He has become a hero to the few law-abiding citizens of the fringe sectors; it is believed he is allied with the government, but such alliance is unofficial at best.
Personality: Although rarely seen in more populated systems where law is better enforced, and his personality can be better recorded, he is normally a kindly, gentle, and just person, seemingly wise and intelligent beyond his years. However, in combat, he is deadly, but is always seen on the battlefield straight after the battle, shaking his head as if in regret.
Powers: A gifted, but stable Psion; he has a remarkable level of power, favouring direct attacks and movement powers over barriers, yet is mentally sound, if imaginative. He does possess barrier abilities, but these are limited in scope, and quite weak.

Arratra's nervous system is wound through and dotted with threads and nodules of an unknown element; this greatly increases his reaction speed and grants him his abilities. No negative effects to his health have been discovered, although a few of the more gifted of his peers are only kept mentally sound by neural implants, and a number of the others are experiencing ongoing mutagenic effects to the long-term overexposure to this "Element X"; Three of these have developed aggressive, but oddly benign cancers, which seem to be slowly taking over their bodies; these cancers seem to have unusual effects, ranging from telekinesis through pyrokinesis, and even up to redirecting the attention of security systems and creating deadly traps. These subjects are not deployed, and are under study aboard the Shadow Dragon.
Ship: The Starlight Dragon, a deadly single-occupant vessel. Its capabilities are currently unknown, but it has been noted to apparently appear out of a rent in space; a sign that it is being launched from a ship with optical cloaking. The exact nature of this ship is unknown, but it is believed to be a warship-grade vessel.
The Ship's AI of the Starlight Dragon has a female persona, and is called Likilia. She is a candid AI, but she lacks subtlety in speech, tending to get straight to the point.
The second ship, the cloaked one, has an AI that is apparently called Muukhuz, plus a second that is simply called "Doc", seemingly the ship's medical bay computer.
:CLASSIFIED INFORMATION:
The SD5 Shadow Dragon is the ship that Arratra captains, as the leader of the elite SCION troopers of the military. The SD6 Starlight Dragon is the primary of the ship's prototype fighter squadron. No enemy has seen the Shadow Dragon and its fighter squadron and lived.
Highly classified records make mention of a stealth cruiser called the Shadow Dragon, apparently placed under the charge of SCION 1. Files on SCION 1 have not been successfully hacked, but most suspect that the aforementioned subject is actually Arratra Drakenguard. SCION 1 and a top-secret program called Project: SCION seem linked.
History: There are no records up until three years ago of a dragon under the name Arratra Drakenguard... at least that aren't at classification levels that hackers have been able to breach.
:CLASSIFIED INFORMATION:
Arratra was born on a remote colony, along with the rest of the SCION troopers. However, the planet vanished off the starmaps (inexplicably to the public) when it was raided by an unknown enemy and destroyed. With the planet falling apart beneath them, the few remaining colonists boarded ships and launched into space. Out of the hundreds of ships that lanuched, only twenty made it to the next system, and even then, every single one of them had suffered crippling damage; they almost crashed into the ship sent out to rescue them. Arratra was found in a survival pod a few hours later, when one last ship arrived. This one had suffered damage so severe that the main compartment had been breached, and most of the survival pods destroyed. When he was brought out of stasis, it was found that he had been placed into stasis very early in the attack, and likely forgotten about when the ships were launched.
When they reached the minimum age, every one of the future SCION troopers signed up with the military as part of the top-secret Project SCION.
Three years ago, the SCIONs were deployed to fight the rising tide of organised crime and piracy in the fringes.
