    Default Instillation B-257 (Missions)

    Instillation B-257 is one of the few remaining drifter colonies from before the initial incursion with the Selkis. Like other drifter colonies this far from the core worlds, it is run by a minor crime syndicate that enlists the use of illegal privateers. Because of it's location, relatively minor operations, and the Selkisian war it is remains largely ignored by the Faction Guard.

    Aside from the crime syndicate and hired raiders, there are actual colonists that make Instillation B-257 home. These families and individuals typically have no place else to go, as the places they once called home have since been razed by the Selkis.

    Because of ruling government control over resource allocation, there is no Vector based technology on the instillation, at least, none on record. Therefor, the majority of tech used on board is pre-vector (fusion core and wire electronics). When it was first constructed, it was just over two kilometers long, but a century of improvised expansion has increased it's length to roughly three kilometers. Much of this are large ships that have been grafted onto the instillation's super structure. However, several of its original docking ports have been left intact and fully operational.

    Several thousand kilometres away, a blue hyperspace window opened, in an unusual swirling pattern. It suddenly vanished, bursting in a flash, as it ejected a ship. Although not actively stealthed, it was not visible to the colony's sensors, and the distress beacon that activated automatically was not on any frequency that the colony could pick up. No systems were online, either, so its EM signature was so minimal that it was lost among the floating debris and dust.

    Instillation B-257, Milky Way Galaxy, 2776 (GSA standard calendar), Five hours forty minutes later.

    The Novastorm was two minutes from existing hyperspace, and the three crew members that manned the bridge where watching Huo with a slightly amused expression. They had spent very long lengths of time in hyperspace and had become very accustomed to feeling of displacement and where more or less unaware of it, and they hadn’t been in transit long enough for the Fennec to adjust yet. “Captain…” Paschendale spoke as they neared their exit point, “I’m picking up a transmission on the lower tachyon bands…” He said, Paschendale was the Novastorm’s entity, though most would call it an AI system, it was in truth the ship itself. “What?” Tiamat asked a little confused and so was the engineer who shrugged, “Maybe one of our vessels hit an anomaly, though vastly different from the one we did it’s…” Andy was cut off by the voice of Paschendale, “It’s not one of our ships, the codes are over forty years old, that not all, it’s an exile frequency.” The Exiles was the name for those still loyal to the Dark Core flag and its now dead dictator.

    Before conversation could continue a blood red hyperspace window opened near the debris field. The Novastorm had been equipped with a far more powerful sensor package for its exploratory/experimental role allowing them to pin point the Exile ship with ease, even if they weren't broadcasting their location to the entire quadrant. “Anyone think that we should scuttle this vessel and be done with it? I’m not in the mood to deal with extremists and terrorists.” Jason, a German Sheppard born during the first few months of GSA/Exile war had a very colored view of what was the former Dark Core empire.

    “Quite, we are not scuttling anything, it poses little threat to us as at all its systems are down and it’s drifting.” Tiamat said, the software codes for the Dark Core vessels had been acquired early in the war, while the Dark Core had updated and changed them very soon afterwards, they might still have some effect of this vessel, but because of its powerless state they would be ineffective unless they boarded the vessel themselves which was risky in the extreme. “Jason, you going in, get on the Ultra-Reality probe you going to take a peak…” He nodded getting up from his position in the gunner’s seat to the chair next to Huo.

    As Jason got into the seat tendrils from the chair, very unlike the Victorian surroundings, these where much more organic in nature like the rest of the vessel in which it was inhabiting. Six of them darted into the spinal cord of the German Sheppard in which caused the German Sheppard to grunt in discomfort. As this happened four more extended from the chair these tendrils where around the canine’s head. Their approach was very gentle compared to that of the first set of neural uplink tendrils. These entered per assigned ports in the base of his skull. “Neural up link established…” Paschendale informed the crew as Jason’s eyes turn jet black, they seemed like soulless black orbs floating in his skull. “Just tell me where to go captain…” He said aloud though his voice seemed strained, as if it was taking effort to stay connected with his body. Andy spoke up “I know this vessel class, if I’m right there should be an entrance in the Sublight engine manifold though a maintenance shaft.” The otter said, “This not a viable option while the ship is powered because the well…that drive plasma will melt just about anything, but that isn’t a problem seeing as it isn’t functioning.” He said. “Can do…” Jason said quietly.

    From the exterior of the vessel a squid like probe exited from one of the missile ports of the Novastorm this probe was an iridescent organic probe crammed with senor organs. The small boosters on the probe allowed it to travel between the Novastorm and Shadow Dragon with ease as it ducked and waved between debris. It took a few moments to locate the shaft that the otter had mentioned earlier. But once located the probe had to ditch its boosters as they would only hinder further progress, a Razor cutting beam was used to open the doors of the shaft in which the probe merely moved out of the way.

    Towards the back of the bridge on the Novastorm the emitter that had spawned the map of the Milky Way lit up again, though this time it was the world view from the point of view of the UR probe and by extension Jason. The image was a massive 360 degree lateral panoramic along with a half sphere top and on the bottom allowing for total vision in all directions something experienced by a rare few. It didn't take long for Jason to reach the engineering section of the ship. On the Engineering deck a black iridescent squid like probe crawled out onto the deck, the probe itself was about 2 meters in length and totally organic. The probe seemed to use insect like legs for locomotion and carried many labs worth of equipment on board. As of this moment current extended instrument was an inorganic to organic computer interface…

    Huo squirmed as his stomach began to disagree with his course of action. THere was no way that this was an intended form of travel for any creature. It left him sickly, weak, and made him feel fragile. Still the strain on his body seemed less than that on Jason. He managed to keep his watch up, and kept an eye on the man. After all, this data was at the very least a large number of 'proof of concepts' that could be valuable later to FSI.

    (OOC: Against my better Judgement: I’m going to use Suru’Kai here instead of the other RP. More fun using him, and I have another Char ready for the other one.)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Suru’Kai stood on the main deck of his ship, looking through his front screen at the slowly approaching Space Station. It had been 40 long years since he left Ra for this system and today, he had finally arrived.
    “Stunning sight, isn’t it sis?” he asked the air as if talking to someone.
    <Yes it is. Unless I’m mistaken, this is the first time a Rakai has been to this galaxy, ever.>
    Suru’Kai breathed a heavy sigh and headed to his quarters so he could put on his armour. He’d aged quite a bit over the years, so he wasn’t as fit as he used to be. Even his normally bright blue underbelly fur was starting to turn silver, but that didn’t slow him down at all.
    <I still don’t understand why you didn’t go into Cryo-Sleep for the trip.>
    “Quite simple: I didn’t want to leave you alone.” He replied; piecing together his armour after injecting his permanently burnt shoulder with another Painkiller needle.
    <You know I can entertain myself in here Suru’Kai.>
    “I know, Kai’Sera. I just feel more comfortable having someone to talk to rather than sleeping all the time. Besides… I owe it to you after-”
    <Just stop there. There wasn’t anything you could do to save me; just be happy that I’m still alive and still with you.>
    “Sorry Sis.” Suru’Kai said. “Can you prepare the ship for landing then?”
    <Sure thing.>
    Suru’Kai sighed and strapped on his ancient, but ever reliable Vortex Rifle to his back as his Sister; now his ships A.I., prepared the ship for landing on the station. All that was going through Suru'Kai's head was a single hope. The hope that this station held what he was looking for...
    The Shadow Dragon may have been old, but she was extremely well-designed, and the technology was actually better than anything the Exiles could still field. With the powerplant off-line, nothing was working bar some muted lighting, which didn't require power.
    As the drone approached one of the control stations, the holographic display shimmered into life, clearly saying that there was juice left in the accumulator batteries that ran the ship when the powerplant was off-line.
    ::Systems status::
    Engines: offline and unpowered; Reactor is required to be powered up before engine heating cycle can begin.
    Reactor core: on standby; ready to jump-heat. Control terminal located elsewhere.
    Life Support: minimal; crew is in stasis. Life Support must be brought up to full before crew can be revived.
    Primary AI core: on standby; AI "Muukhuz" went into standby mode 42 years, three months, and two days ago. Command word access required.
    Secondary AI core: on standby; AI "Doc" went into standby mode 42 years, three months ago. Ready to power up at medical inquiry.
    Tertiary AI core: Offline; AI "Likilia" is physically disconnected from the ship, and currently in standby mode. Fighter Starlight Dragon is in the machine shop.
    Shields: Online; minimal levels. Keeping debris away from ship's hull. Repulsion level currently insufficient to repel weapon fire.
    Commanding Officer status: in stasis.
    ::ACCIDENT REPORT::
    Hyperdrive failure
    Shadow Dragon has failed to exit hyperspace. Hyperdrive surging. Crew going into stasis to preserve lifespan and life-support.
    Addendum: 42 years, 4 months after accident. Shadow Dragon has dropped out of hyperspace at unknown coordinates. Unable to find star-map on file. Single installation detected 10000 km off port side.
    Reason for drop-out: Hyperdrive out of fluid.
    Error: auto-wake-up procedures failed to initialise. Manual wake up required.
    “…Fluid? Right…the old core drive systems where not as advanced as their GSA counter parts…” Hyperdrive technology had been a gift of good will to the other nations of the Manavara Galaxy, though the GSA stopped this practice later in its history. Because of the handing off of the technology it not as well understood by the core as it was by its original makers. Though the trade off was that the Core didn’t have to debug a new system so there weapons and shield technology jumped ahead of that of the GSA. As a result, at the start of the war the GSA had little shield technology to speak of as well as little in the way of energy weapons.
    “So what should we do now? We could shove an antimatter warhead in the same tube we crawled in…fifty megatons in its engineering section well rip a dreadnought in two, let alone this little vessel.” This time it was Hayden that spoke up, he had not love for the Exiles either but his reasons where far different reasons than Jason's. “No, the war is over…Jason, head to the medical bay, there "Doc" AI system might be able to revive the crew of that vessel, not like they have anything we want on that vessel anyway, its forty year old tech. Might be better than anything the Exiles could get their hands on now, but its twenty years at top speed back to our home galaxy and forty of them due to the nature of old Exile hyperdrive tech…” The engineer spoke up, “At any rate if they do turn hostile we could run there ship can barely make half the speed that the Novastorm can reach.” He shrugged, Like Tiamat he was born far before the war started and as such had a different view on things. “It’s not like she’s going to march into the Elision rift like she owned the place like her comrades did back in 64.6.” Andy said rubbing his face, it seemed had just got up a little while ago and it was true because he was the last one of the bridge crew to join them.” Meanwhile the UR probe had been making its way to the medical bay thanks to captured schematics of the ship.
    Outside the medical bay of the Shadow Dragon the squid like probe had opened a panel in the wall to allow it to access a power junction. The Differences from the Power-systems of a GSA vessel to that of the Dark core where similar to the differences between night and day. But they still only had one function, and that was to divert power. In this they were the same, it only took a moment for the interface splice to connect but once it did the door opened for the probe. It was the first time Jason realized that the Gravity systems had been offline as there was medical equipment floating around the medical bay. “Well, I should have expected this…” Jason said aloud to the bridge crew and to the medical bay, as it was he was technically in two places once. The Probe floated through the medical bay using its organic to inorganic interface to access the system…
    "You know, this reminds me of the first time that a GSA cruiser, it was the Burnout inferno I think, brought one of these Stealth vessels into the Galaxies' Edge shipyard. That was a fun month I dare say...quite interesting cutting up a stealth vessel..."
    Much of the floating medical equipment was not of a metallic nature; things such as scalpels and other metal instruments were attached to permanent magnets in the cabinets.
    The only object that was floating that was of a remotely metallic composition was a medical drone, which was slowly making its way around the bay, collecting the floating objects as it went. This made it abundantly clear that the objects had come loose during the transition into normal space.
    The terminal that the probe was approaching suddenly flickered into life, and a voice said, "Wake up protocol compromised. Life support at minimal function. Initialising emergency protocols... Ship's primary AI coming online."
    A hologram wavered into existence, and Muukhuz stretched her holographic avatar, as if limbering up. She then cracked her fingers. "I'm bringing life support back up to full," she said, not noticing the probe, "Doc, you wake the crew."
    "Aye ma'am," the medical AI responded, as the medical bay lights flickered into life, "My AI core is fully functional. Wake up sequence initialised."
    "Reactor core coming up to recommended levels," Muukhuz added, "Engines coming online... Detecting minor leak in left ventral engine. Patching... Done. Shields running up to full. Weapons coming up to standby. Gravity ramping up."
    The floating items fell slowly to the floor as the artificial gravity ramped up towards the standard gravity level.
    "Gravity level at standard and stabilising. All systems are online."
    The Shadow Dragon engaged its engines, slowly sliding out of the debris field, on a docking vector with the Novastorm.
    "This is AI Muukhuz requesting permission to perform hardpoint dock," came over the COMs.
    Muukhuz’s request was met with a chorus voices that made up the available bridge crew, minus the FSI officer. “Absolutely not, permission denied, attempt to force a dock with this vessel will be regarded as a hostile action and we will open fire.” The Novastorm's shielding systems went online, unlike the Dark Core’s all encompassing spherical shield system the GSA vessel had directional shielding and it was highly visible as it distorted EM radiation that passed through the shield. This should have been not possible for a GSA vessel as at the time of Shadow Dragon’s departure from the Manavara galaxy the GSA had no viable shielding technology. As a result they relied on armor technology, and this was still the case for larger GSA vessels but the frigate and destroyer class vessels had been upgraded with shielding systems to boost their defense capability.
    From the exterior of the Novastorm, it looked like the area of the frigate facing the Shadow Dragon was covered by interlocking hexagonal plates of energy. Even though a scan would show that the system was still inferior to Dark Core shielding systems, though the one hundred forty centimeters of Diamond Composite armored hull that encased the Novastorm’s organic systems as was expected able to take more than the shield ever could.
    ---
    In the medical bay of the Shadow Dragon the Ultra-Reality probe was floating ignored, it had to rely on its inertial negation systems to stay afloat now that gravity had been restored to the ship. “You know, I think I’ll just float out of this medical bay unnoticed…” Jason said to the bridge crew of the Novastorm, and inadvertently to the medical bay of the DC vessel due to the blurring between the lines of himself and the probe.
    "Oh, not you don't," Muukhuz said suddenly, and the medical bay doors slammed shut, "You're not going anywhere."
    The Shadow Dragon changed its vector to one that would bring the stealth cruiser alongside the Novastorm, but at a respectful distance. None of the weapon systems were online, and most of the energy weapons were still spinning up to standby mode.
    The stealth cruiser braked to a halt near the Novastorm, and halted all engines, just sitting completely still relative to the GSA vessel.
    At the other side of the medical bay, a door opened. On the other side were rows of stasis pods; the light inside was shifting towards blue as the stasis fields were disengaged. One of them opened, and a dragoness sat up from inside, groaning and rubbing her head. Or trying, as she wore a helmet.
    "This is why I hate stasis," she said, pulling the helmet she wore off, "Always leaves me feeling bleagh."
    The crew of the Novastorm was watching their screens to see what the Shadow Dragon would do next. They didn’t want to make someone they just met and an enemy because of old tensions between their two peoples. But they were not ready to become friends just yet. Tiamat highly doubted that the crew of the Novastorm could ever really be friends with the Exiles do to the scared past which had taken place between the crew and the Dragon’s kin. “Captain…I think its best that we meet on the station, it neutral ground for both parties and there will no hostilities because they’re coming aboard this ship, or connecting with it. Whichever is your reason for not wanting them on board this vessel, though I don’t blame you for not wanted them on this vessel.” It was Paschendale that spoke up, and Tiamat agreed. “Forward the idea to the AI of that vessel, see how they take it, in the mean time…” She left the sentence in the air as she jiggled the controls of the vessel before altering the dual control interfaces.
    From the outside of the vessel the Novastorm could be seen accelerating towards the station at full burn. Its large quad matter/antimatter sublight drive engine let it accelerate to nearly twenty percent the speed of light. The engines had a lambent indigo color to them.
    In the medical bay the Ultra Reality probe was watching the Dragoness that existed the stasis area, along with everything else in the medical bay, so was the nature of three hundred and sixty degree vision. “So…who exactly are you people…” Said the probe…
    Five long appendages stretched from the station, a pulsing blue light at the end of each one to signify where it was at against the black of space. The gently clamped onto the the ship to lock it into place. A long tube-like arm reached out from the station to the first vessel. The end of it, while closed for the moment, seemed to conform to a shape compatible with the airlock of the incoming ship. Six red lights slowly pulsed on the outside, creating a hexagonal shape. The lights turned solid green when the arm magnetically locked itself to the ship. Its 'door' opened like an iris shortly after.
    The arms of an adjacent dock unclamped themselves from another ship that was docked with the station. This ship had an elongated dagger-like shape, although the middle was abruptly wider than the rest. The overall length of the ship couldn't have been more than fifty meters. It angled itself away from the station and accelerated away with a yet unnamed purpose.
    A figure hidden in the various shadows looked out of a small window at the docking ship. It's make was unfamiliar to him, so they might be able to help. Or it could be the opposite... For now, the hidden figure would stick to the shadows, as he has been doing since boarding the station, and see how things play out.
    "SCION 2, Shirranna," she replied absently, walking over to one of the fixed medical scanners.
    "Standard post-stasis health scans underway," Doc said, as the scanner sprang into life, rapidly running over the dragoness' body.
    "Everything is within expected parameters," Doc said, as a bowl of gruel came out of a nearby food dispenser, "Just get some food into your body, and you'll be feeling better in no time."
    "What about SCION Leader?" Likilia asked.
    "Still in stasis," came the reply, "I'm bringing him out slowly; the Element X concentration in his nervous system is giving off bizarre readings, and I had best see what's wrong before I bring him out completely."
    The Shadow Dragon accelerated towards the station as well, but at a much lower burn level; the engines needed a shake-down after so long offline.
    The stealth cruiser slid into the docking hub. It didn't really fit, and was somewhat larger than the Novastorm, but still managed to get an adequate seal using its own extendible docking tube.
    "SCION 2," Muukhuz said, "In the Captain's indisposition, and as the only crew member currently functional, your assignment is to go ashore and meet the crew of the vessel that rescued us... Doc, scan this probe. It's not a design I recognise. Definitely GSA, but... I've never seen its like before."
    "Aye, aye." Doc replied, as a sensor wand waved over the probe.
    "Best keep your helmet with you," Muukhuz advised Shirranna, "The station is made of something that blocks my scanners."
    "I understand," Shirranna replied, gulping down the gruel hastily, quick-marching out of the medical bay.
    The one hundred Seventy meter length of the Novastorm pulled into dock, its large extended center hull section allowed it to fit into the docking ring nicely. Though the docking couple had a little trouble getting a tight lock, but it managed in a matter of moments. “Alright boys and…well I’m the only female, so boys nothing bigger than a Rail rifle…and you…well you have to provide your own weapons.” She said to Huo getting up, “Jason, get that probe back here, than meet me in the station, Radio me before you do so I can tell you where I am.” She said before looking at Hayden, she remembered Huo’s reaction to Hayden and was wondering if she wanted to bring him along before deciding against it. “Hayden hold down the fort, and make sure you maim anyone that wants to come on this ship without my permission. Warn them first though…” She said and he merely nodded, the Captain and the engineer got up and stood by Huo looking at him, “Guests get to leave first…” She said pointing to the maglev elevator. The Airlock was on deck two, below the bridge.
    “Well you could ask me, and yes this is a GSA probe, one you have never seen before though…” The probe spoke, though it voice was male. “Then again you have missed a lot over the past four decades thats sure…” It said.
    "Neural linkage," Doc commented, "interesting."
    Shirranna stepped into the airlock, pulling on her breather helmet.
    "How's the captain?" she asked.
    "Fine," Doc replied, "I adjusted the stasis field harmonics and the resonance in the E-X vanished. Looks like a harmonic feedback loop. Managed to damp it before it could do damage. I'm still bringing him out slowly; he's in a non-standard stasis harmonic at the moment."
    The airlock hissed as the pressure difference between the ship and the station was settled, then the doors whirred open, and Shirranna stepped out of the ship, into the docking tube. She floated along the length of the tube, and deftly somersaulted into the station's airlock, where she landed on the deck.
    "I simply have never seen such technology before," Doc said, the sensor wand retracting into the wall. The AI allowed the probe to leave.
    Shirranna left her helmet on as the atmospheric composition in the airlock changed from Dark Core shipboard standard to that of the station. She stepped out, her boots sounding out in smart, One-two time as she stepped out of the airlock and into the station's docking hub.
    The hidden figure did a double take looking out of the same station window. 'Two more ships!?' he thought to himself. So far all three ships have been of an unknown make to him, the crew probably more so. This may have been the opportunity that he was searching for, but he wasn't going to be hasty. Observing those that board would be the first priority.
    The ship shuddered as the Tendril Docked to the ship; throwing Suru a bit off balance.
    <We've Landed, Suru'Kai.>
    "Thanks you sis. Ready for the hard Transfer?"
    <I'm ready.>
    Suru'Kai pulled out the tiny round Microchip and inserted it into his armour; transferring Kai'Sera from the ship to his armour.
    "Can you hear me alright?"
    <Yeah, I can.>
    "Good. Let's go."
    Suru'Kai then walked over to the Tendril Airlock; sealing his suit and preparing to board the station for the first time.
    Shirranna spotted the Rakai as the airlock opened. She was still in the arrivals area of the dock, waiting for the crew of the Novastorm to make an appearance.
    "-air density and composition-. Wait..."
    She stared at Suru'kai through her transparent faceplate, then broke into a broad grin.
    "Suru'Kai!" she called, stepping to one side and waving to her captain's aquaintance, "Over here!"
    <Mother of Ty'Phera: Someone recognises me all the way out here?!> Was the first thing that rocketed through Suru'Kai's mind as he whipped around in surprise. Hesitantly, he stepped over to Shirranna.
    "You know me?" He asked as Kai'Sera went to sleep in his armours Circutry.
    Tiamat was the frist of her crew of the vessel followed by Andy the engineer of the Novastorm. Unlike the other Dark Core she and her crew where much more casual with entering the environment of the Station. Aside from the GSA Rail-Rifle that was slung across her back, she had a pistol strapped to her leg. She herself was wearing leather jacket and black undershirt, and white pants. "Well...this should be interesting..." She said stretching, she wasn't concerned about her environment as she had a highly strengthened Immune system thanks to GSA bio-engineering.
    Andy came out in leather jacket and overall similar where to Tiamat, though he only carried a pistol. On his arm one could see an organic mesh like substance. It was a computer interface that allowed him to interface most types of computer networks, assuming he had the formating. It would take some time to understand the Data formating of this Galaxy.
    While Andy would have been an unknown to the Dark Core Empire, Tiamat would have been known to them as the Dark Core had an EXTENSIVE profile on the Cartwright family. She herself had been rumored to have caused the brutal genocide of a Dark Core world three months before the departure of the Shadow Dragon from the Manavara Galaxy. This had never been confirmed out deigned.
    "SCION 2, Shirranna," Shirranna said, checking the atmosphere. She nodded, and the helmet opened up, and she removed it, shaking out her long hair. "Executive officer of the Shadow Dragon," she continued, "And second in command to SCION Leader, Arratra Drakenguard."
    She then spotted Tiamat and Andy and turned somewhat to face them. She did not wear standard Dark Core insignia or armour; it was customised equipment worn by the SCION troopers.
    She immediately marched over to the GSA party, and gave a salute. "SCION 2, Shirranna," she intruduced herself, "Executive officer of the Shadow Dragon. The Captain is currently still in stasis because of difficulties during the wake-up protocol. Otherwise he would have come to meet you himself."
    "Commander," Muukhuz said over Shirranna's wrist COM, causing the female dragon to lift it up and look at the small screen, "The female is Tiamat Cartwright. The male is not on our files... Tiamat Cartwright is rumoured to be the reason a Dark Core colony world was wipes completely clean of life, but I seriously doubt she was directly responsible."
    Shirranna nodded, and closed the link, looking at Tiamat with an unreadable expression. Her face seemed totally blank.
    The area where everyone has congregated was dimly lit. The ceiling, walls, and floor had many blotches of rust ranging in size from a few square inches to several square feet. All in all, it resembled a 21st century airport terminal on Earth. The windows that gave a view of space, and currently docked ships were fairly small rounded rectangles, each one two meters tall and three meters wide, spaced three meters apart. Anyone that looked out through the windows would see the ships illuminated by lights on the outside of the station, but no light from a star, as the nearest system is several light years away.
    There were also several station inhabitants of varied species nearby. While some were sitting and relaxing, others were walking in various directions. There were a few who were armed, though they wore no distinguishable uniform and their weapons looked ballistic in nature. With the exception of a few quick glances, most seemed to ignore the 'new' group.
    Amongst the footsteps, there was a cadence of metal on metal as a somewhat small droid, standing at just under 5 feet tall approached the group. This droid looked as though some of it's parts were once scrap and -then- it had fallen into disrepair. It's 'head' was a skinny 1 foot long rod with a glowing blue line stretching the length of it. It's 'neck' was also something of a rod, although it was only a few inches in length. Together, they made a 'T' shape. As it stopped a few feet away from the group, it's head produced a holographic 1 square foot screen, with the face of a human male.
    "Welcome to Beatrice, new travelers. Your ships didn't register in our logs, but that's fine. We just have two rules on this station for guests. Don't ask questions about our business and we won't ask about yours." the holographic screen flickered a few times, most likely a result of the poor condition of the droid. However, on one of the 'longer' periods of it being solid, the words "do not trust this man" appeared, but disappeared as the screen flickered again before returning to normal. It was so quick, that the unobservant would likely not have seen it.
    "The second rule for guests is live and let live. So long as you abide by these simple rules, you should be fine. I would hate for anything bad to happen. Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Lou Nos. I... run things around here. Well, that's all that really. Enjoy your stay." With that, the holographic screen disappeared and the droid turned around, clanking as it walked off.
    Elsewhere...
    The voyeur hid himself in shadow, spying on the group. No one would be able to find him, let alone see him even if they knew what to look for. 'A risk, hacking that message. Well, even if they say something about it, the others still wouldn't know what to look for...' he thought to himself. For now, he would stay hidden and continue his observation. Determining wether or not they would be of help or hinderance...
    "No mention of weapons protocols," Shirranna commented, but it was an unconscious observation. She was more concerned with the message that had popped up in the middle of the first.
    Her hand strayed towards the SMG she wore on her thigh, but she the gesture was unconscious, and a reflex action, which was not focussed in the direction of Tiamat and Andy.
    "I wouldn't need that warning to know not to trust him," Muukhuz added, "His manner is almost furtive. Be on the lookout for anything dangerous... besides yourselves, of course."
    “Well I would assume that if there were any Weapon Restrictions, they would have said them. Personally speaking, I’m happy there aren’t any apparent Rules; there’s enough Firepower in this suit to start a small war, and I would hate to have it confiscated.” Suru’Kai said, subconsciously fiddling with a small 4 pronged device on his suit.
    “And your captain Arratra can vouch for that. He’s seen the ugly side of this thing when used for destructive reasons.” Suru’Kai added, dropping his hand to his side; landing next to a holstered Rakai Pistol.
