XAP in Need of a New Staff Member

It is my unpleasant duty to announce that Iscin is no longer part of Scififur.net, or no longer a part of XAP. Iscin, for his own reasons, decided to leave our forums.

As a result, the staff of XAP are going to be reorganizing themselves to get things back on track. They are going to need another staff member though, to fill what ever role has to be vacated by the reorganization.

To see if you can qualify for becoming a member of XAP's staff, please send an application to SliceofDog by PM.

Anyone who is interested can of course, apply. However, we would like someone who has pretty good writing skills, good organizational skills and really good people skills.

As a member of staff for XAP, you may be asked to help search for sound effects, and if you are familiar with using sound-mixing software (a big plus if you are), to help put together sound schemes and edit and piece together various parts of the show, itself. You may also be asked to help recruit voice talent from within the furry fandom. You may even be asked to do some voice-over spots, yourself.

Producing XAP is a lot of hard work. It is also all volunteer work. But if you're interested in doing something that will be a public production - with your name attached to it as a co-producer - then this may be your chance.

If I could also add, we'll need someone else to fill in the position of introducing the podcast each episode. I'd be ok doing this, or we could have a different person each time, but like you say Rick we'll need an extra person to pick up the work-load.
I would certainly prefer it if that person is willing to contribute vocally (By which I mean literally, not just voicing their opinion )

Dusty has expressed his interest in filling this role. I've been talking to him fairly extensively about it, and I'm pleased to say he seems quite eager. He's even said he'll buy a new headset for it.
Tomorrow, when I'm less tired (Should so be sleeping right now v_v) I'd like to sort out with everyone the timeframe for finishing each XAP episode, which will obviously be very long for the first episode, and how it's gonna be run without Iscin now. I think for one we need greater communication between the 'specialists', so you could end on, for example, "And now over to Odin who'll be telling you something about some comics you'd never heard of before" :p
