Hi folks I'd just like to ask you guys if you would like to have the ability to post your own Blogs? These will be similar to the Journals on FA. It's sort of a place to post stuff that's on your mind. It could also lead to some good article material.

Let me know, I'd love to get your input.

I would, i'm constantly finding stuff online that i'd like to link to and discuss but which don't really merit starting a thread over.

What's this Article business about? I first noticed them earlier today when a bunch of Odin The Comics Wolf's stuff showed up, but that was the first i'd heard...

It's a way for us to branch out a bit. Have a look at the homepage, I made a news post about it.

I support the idea in principle, but can I ask where they'd appear? We don't want the place getting too cluttered, especially this quick after a change-over. Also, would it detract from the forum d'you think? As in, make people post journals about sci-fi instead of starting topics?

They'll have their own section. I can also have updates on the sidebar, just like the latest posts that we have now.

Sounds like a plan then. Although I'd say it's not really top priority. Bringing all the old features over, at least the ones we want, would probably be best before adding new things like that. Also, will you have the Twitter feed on here again? Also not really a priority, but I quite liked it.

Yes, I'll be adding the Twitter widget back in. That right hand sidebar is meant for stuff like that. Though it sort of annoys me that whenever Twitter is slow it slows the entire site down.
