Update on XAP

"It's getting there" has for a long time been the rallying cry of our podcast, and I'm afraid it will remain so for a little bit longer. I'm confident that it will be finished within the month, but considering our initial hope was to have it out at the start of this year, it's safe to say we've overshot it by quite a long time.

I will admit this is mostly my fault. Though recently exam preparation and other RL commitments have genuinely gotten in the way of XAP work, I haven't been doing exams for the past 6 months, so it's not much of an excuse. Partially I was too ambitious, and partially I have been procrastinating far too much.

However, with all of that said, I honestly believe it can be finished, and to a very good quality, over the next 2 or 3 weeks. I hope that it will be worth the wait, that it may inspire more people to contribute in future episodes (Which will in turn lessen the work-load for me and produce full shows quicker), will bring new publicity for the site and, mostly, that it will entertain you all.

Thank you for your extreme patience, and I look forward to finally being able to present the Podcast to you all.

Thanks for the update Slice. Time is always at a premium when you're a student, so I can understand why progress has been a little slower than you'd like.

Thanks for understanding. The second Podcast should certainly not take as long (In all honestly I planned it better than I planned this first one) so this should be a one-off problem.

One again of course I horribly miss the deadline. However, pretty much all the actual content is recorded now. I just have the process of Editing (Which I hate doing but am just going to have to soldier through) and then chucking it all together. I won't say what deadline I've set myself, because then I'll have to apologise again if I miss it XD
However, rest assured that I have set myself a deadline, that I am working on it (However slowly) and that I know what problems I've had, so I should do much better next time.
